I had a best friend from high school we knew each 10 years plus friendship I moved fromNY to and to nc live with her as a roommate when I tell you I realized how passionate aggressive she was she would would always say things like when we would talk about how happy I was to leave ny she would say “yea I’ve never would of thought you would actually do it “ she would have this this evil condescending ass smile on her face and I realize this girl was a trauma bond you grow and learn she loves bringing me down since high school
Those are the hardest ones to realize. But once you do, you start to make the connections looking back at your relationship and notice they were never your friend.
Same here... I went through this almost exact same story with my cousin... When I moved away and told her how happy I was.. she would always try to find a reason why I shouldn't be... I kept saying no... She can't be a hater or jealous bc I thought she was like my sister... I called it out and we haven't been close since. I thank God she's gone bc she was doing it for yrs and I didn't want to believe it.
I just let a “friend” go because she’s a mean girl! I told her time and time again that I don’t like the fake bougie bs! She talks about her sisters like a dog! And it goes on and on. She also does the competition thing and I don’t do that with friends. I cut her off cold turkey…no explanation because I’m tired! Not to mention she’s the never make mistakes and talk down! It goes on and on. So I canceled her. I’m straight on that

Thank you for this💯 Im currently 21 and I noticed I have trouble picking friends. Im a introvert so I been trying to get myself out there more. It still isn't working, I had 1 ex friend I caught redhanded stealing from me. I cut her off then she went around slandering my name and told a mutual guy friend of ours that she wanted to rob me. Luckily he told me because 1month later, she tried to come back and be my "friend" again. Then another girl began speaking to me out of nowhere, so we started talking alot more and became friends too. We went out a few times and went over each others house. She started acting weird too unfortunately. She'll say she's coming to get me and won't show up. I texted her to see how she was doing and no response. She texted me and I replied and she didn't say anything. She has sent me off a few times and barely responds. My teenage years were just as bad. Idk what it is...I really don't.
I have a friend who always says "hope your day is better than mine". You can probably guess the personality profile from that quote. I think the distancing approach is best since we live states away. It feels harsh to block someone especially if they have a good heart, but I am not going to be used anymore. So I am unsure how to distance myself more. And I am also part of the problem since I do respond to be polite.
Having only guy friends is a red flag... i dont see how that could actually benefit anyone having exclusively male friends as a woman idk. But yeah sadly this video is all facts i feel bad for women like that they done drank the patriarchy kool aid

I just ended two long term friendships and I was feeling bad about it. But, watching your videos just confirmed that I did the best thing for myself.
