Now, For my Notes from the Game!
+ Not the Best Result from Strider, But he had to Battle Both the Phillies Players... AND Their Hateful Fans! Overall though, not too shabby! 5 Innings of 2-Run, 3-Hit Ball, Walking 2 and Striking Out 8 in a No Decision.
+ The Bullpen though was EXCELLENT! Jimenez, Johnson, Minter, and Bummer worked together to Finish the Final 4 Innings, allowing just 1 Run on 2 Hits, Walking 1 and Striking Out 7! Pierce Johnson gets the Win in Relief, Pitching a FLAWLESS 7th while Striking Out 2!
ROTATION TOTAL: 9 Innings, 3 Runs, 5 Hits, 3 Walks, 15 KILLS, 1 Home Run Allowed.
It Took 6 Innings before the Offense got going, but when it did... They Sent the Phillies Fans RUNNING for the Exits!
+ Welcome Back to the A, Adam DUUUUVALLLL! 1-2 with the GAME-TYING 2-RUN Double in the 7th Inning to get the Braves Off the Mat!
+ HAVE A DAY, MONEY MIKE! 3-5 With 3 Singles and the Go-Ahead RBI Hit in the 8th!
+ The MVP with a Good Performance to Start 2024! 2-4 with Two-Singles, Including the GAME-DECISIVE RBI Hit in the 8th!
+ Not the Best Day for Austin 3:16, but he did earn an RBI the Patient Way in the 8th, with a Walk!
+ HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MATTY-O! 3-5 with 3 DOUBLES and 3 RBIs! It's a Great Birthday when you send the Opposition RUNNING for the Mountains!
- NOT THE MURPH! Sean Murphy Exited the Game with Oblique Soreness after a Foul Ball in the 7th! He Finished the Game 0-3. I suppose this Means Tromp will be called up and d'Arnaud to handle majority duty for now?
+ A RELENTLESS BEATDOWN OF THE PHAILIES ON OPENING DAY TO START THE 2024 MLB SEASON! Strider Battled, The Bullpen Overcame, and the Offense BUTCHERED the Opposition's Bullpen... A TEXTBOOK VICTORY Over Zack Wheeler... Can we take the momentum to Tomorrow?
+ The Mets Lost, and EVERY TEAM in the NL EAST EXCEPT the Braves have 1 Loss Each, Meaning YOUR ATLANTA BRAVES OPEN THE SEASON Where they left off: LEADING THE DIVISION!
Tomorrow:
Round 2 of 3 of Opening Weekend Between YOUR Atlanta Braves and the Philadelphia Phillies will take place under the Afternoon Skies of Citizen's Bank Park. Aaron Nola will take the mound for the Phils, who is coming off an Odd 2023, in which he went 12-9 with an ERA of 4.46 in 32 Starts. Meanwhile, MAX FRIED will take up Battle Stations for the Bravos, who Pitched VERY WELL Despite being injured in the First Half, going 8-1 with an ERA of 2.55 in 14 Starts.
Can FRIED and the Braves Open 2024 with a Series Win in the Hostile Grounds of Citizen's Bank Park?
Or will Nola and the Phils Defend their Home Turf and Even the Series?

Braves pitching putting up 15 strikeouts against the Phillies, overshadowed by the offensive explosion by Atlanta in the 7th and particularly the 8th inning.
Also of note: Braves scored all 9 runs without the benefit of a HR.
That was impressive. All those runs without 1 home run.

I’m hoping we manufacture runs all season long. I love the long ball, but it would be nice to score more runs independently from that as well.

That's why we went out make sure Travis darnold did not go anywhere sucks that we lost Sean Murphy for a couple weeks but we've got more than enough backup yes teams may run on us more because Travis's arm is not as good as Sean's but we didn't lose anything offensively wise also are backup catchers good enough we call up even though this sucks I think we'll be okay

The new uniforms look awful. The league had a an amazing brand and just continue to chip away at it. It's grating and sad. Manfred is a cancer to this sport.
Removed the piping from the belt loops and replaced the piping on the sleeves with cuffs. The little details helped make these uniforms so pleasing to look at.
They going to put women umpires too. The de-emesculating sports is going to continue bro. They got the NBA, especially NFL, and soccer. MLB is the last with some dignity but it's running thin.
