Great content. The RUclips algorithm brought me to your channel and I just subscribed. I like how your content has some variety. As much as I enjoy living vicariously through folks opening products I will never be able to afford, that can get pretty boring. Variety sets you apart. Keep up the good work!
What about the 2017 1st Bowman Chrome? I guess that is not considered a rookie card? I bought 20 of those cards for $15 each back in 2018 after I see him play against the Mets. The ball jumped off his bat like it would for an elite hitter. I also have 15 of the mini version of the 2017 Bowman Chrome. I think it is about time I get a few of them graded LOL.
Hey Furio, in the past I always said that prospect cards (if they are not the same rookie year as his other rookie cards) aren't included. I totally forgot to mention that in this one. I think first Bowman's are definitely important and have a place in the hobby but just for simplicities sake I keep them out of these videos. Also, I bet you have made a killing on all those first Bowmans that you bought. That is awesome!! I also think the minis are super underrated. Thanks for sharing!
Does anyone know if heritage has done a set modeled after 1954 Topps? That set is by far my favorite early Topps set, maybe my favorite ever. The front of that set is clean with beautiful art. However, the back of those cards are amazing. The bright and vibrant colors and art on the backs really set the cards apart from any early Topps products. They took some chances with that design and, in my opinion, they completely nailed it.
Great videos! Fun to watch these a year or so later. Prices obviously way down. Hope they’re near the floor. Picked up a Chrome Refractor for 1/2 the price of chrome base at this time.
Definitely a nice card! That one was number 16 on the list and just barely missed the cut. It is one of my very favorite looking Acuna rookies as well!
The Living Set? That isn't a short print run at 46,809. I didn't check the pop reports, but with over 46k printed and shipped directly to the customer (never in foil packs), I'm gonna assume it has a large pop in PSA 10s. I like the card though... i grabbed it and a bunch of his Topps Now cards his rookie year.
Hey Scott! I really like this series about card rankings. You're very knowledgeable about the different brands and the products/cards they release. You may have mentioned this in your video but you listed the Topps update RC but not the series 1 or 2 (not sure which one he's in) RC. Would you list that beside his update? I would imagine they have a higher POP report? As always, thanks for the quality content!
I just got one of the Acuna Topps Jumbo 5x7 of his rookie (white jersey, bat is up). The card shows numbered out of 49. Are there really only 49 of them made? I have other numbered cards where there seem to be multiple series of them but maybe there are subtle differences. I see on ebay selling for $3k-$5k or so.
Question: you chose to include one card from Montgomery, so now I'm curious as to why you went with that one over the 2018 Montgomery Club Set 1 (where he is holding a bat in a classic photo pose similar to Heritage). Ps... it has a POP in PSA 10 of only 70. What do you think will be the long-term value of a Montgomery Club Set 1 exclusive with a PSA 10 of only 70? I love mine.
I didn't include it only because it isn't a 2018 rookie card with the rookie card logo. The first Bowmans are AWESOME but I was just trying to include rookies in this video. I will explain that better in future videos. Thanks!
Nice video! Any thoughts on Acuna’s Heritage Rookie Performers insert with less than 400 PSA 10? Super cool retro look in my opinion. The colors make it really pop and it has a better pose than his Heritage base card.
I forgot to mention in the rules that I do not include prospect cards in these rankings if they weren't from the same year as the players rookie cards, so that is why you do not see the first Bowman card. If I were to have included it it would have been right before or after the Topps update rookie. Moving forward I may included the First Bowman Chrome card in the rookie card rankings videos. Thanks guys!
Nice! I picke up some of his stuff this offseason but am kicking myself for not buying a bgs 9.5 bat down when they were onoly $500 in early January! That's awesome you had a sapphire auto at one point. I hope you got some good money for it at least.

It's to bad that you don't include prospect cards (especially 1st cards). Especially since that is a players FIRST card & that is in fact what the essence of a rookie card is intended to be. Look at how many NFL & NFL players who have "REAL" rookie cards but don't even make it to an NFL practice squad or advance past the NBA development league.
i think acuna has one of the most notable and classic first bowmans even more the soto, If bobby witt jr lives up to the hype his first bowman already a classic card n pic
Acuna has too many "Rookie cards" ....I just like to buy a couple cards a year from Baseball cause i'm a Football fan but this time I can't decide between this many Rookies...There's too much to chose from hahahah BTW... I only spend under 50.00 I like the select line but- There ALL off centered!
I love this series. There are sooo many cards these days. Thanks, man
Thank you for the raw prices it really helps.
Of course! I think raw cards and prices are ignored way too often in videos. I am glad it is helpful. Thanks for watching.

He's a great player. I love his style.
Same here. If I had to pick one young player to invest in I would be picking between Soto and Acuna. Both are fun to watch!
Another fantastic video :D
Love these series. Keep up the awesome job!

Awesome video! I need to see the soto one next… how about the 2018 topps update variation where you see the back of his jersey….?
What's your opinion on the Ronald Acuna Jr. Baseball Wrapper Redemption card?
Real talk ,I like gold label.. not sure why it gets shorted on the 2nd market
i never knew that about the acuna short print. but yeah, the backgrounds match up. so that's pretty cool.
In the same 2018 topps chrome blaster i pulled an acuna chrome refractor and an ohtani prism rookie. I wonder whose blaster was better lol
I think the numbered Trout tips that scale
No red and blue shirt sp from update?
This is awesome and helpful. Thank u 🙏!

Great vid brotha, should do this for Shohei!
Thanks Brooks, I appreciate that! I definitely will do Shohei soon!

Sweet video! I definitely want one of those sapphire rc's.
love his Topps Living Set Rookie Card. Short Print Run. Can't be pulled in any packs. Nice Artwork.

You should do one of these on Nolan Arenado, probably future HOF
Do you think I should invest in players topps rookie cards, or bowman chrome 1st prospects cards???
Both
@@jbortega1178 Yes...Both
Thoughts on tacko fall?
Why didn't you include the 2017 bowman chrome prospects card?
I didn't include it only because it isn't a 2018 rookie card with the rookie card logo. The first Bowmans are AWESOME but I was just trying to include rookies in this video. I will explain that better in future videos. Thanks!

Copped one of his update red and blue jersey not to long ago glad I did 😅 wishing I didn't sell his sapphire rookie auto

for the gold label you were showing the class 2 not class 1
I'm surprised you didn't include the 2017 1st Bowman card of Acuna, his Bowman Chrome card in PSA 10 goes for over $500
I didn't include it only because it isn't a 2018 rookie card with the rookie card logo. The first bowmans are AWESOME but I was just trying to include rookies in this video. I will explain that better in future videos. Thanks!

I need this for Shohei
How about the pink card
Good video should do CJ Abrams
Doesn’t Acuña have a rookie card in Series 2 that is not the bat down? Not just in update.
Nope, his only series 2 rookie is the bat down. Since it is an SP the Update is considered his flagship. Thanks for watching!
@@scottiebcards2354 I have one 698 series 2 RC..I’m confused
@@scottiebcards2354 the RC is on the right instead of the left like in the update card
So no 1st or did I miss that ok
Do one for Tatis.... Love these
I’m surprised his bowman 1st didn’t make this list. U don’t really see one of these list without the bowman 1st
Fernando Tatis Junior I would love to see a top 15 rookie
I have the silver pack!
Great card to have! I think there is a lot of value in those long term!
The Sapphire card is my Holy Grail card. One day.
I have acuna flagship in a 9 I paid 20 bucks for it
Bowman's Best below optic and prizm??? You are way off. I would add 2018 ginter hot box glossy and ginter world talent over all of the panini cards
LouBob!

I hate Panini MLB cards. Yuck
