good job on the motor swap there.i guess the crysler flat 4 cylinder was to far gone now its even simpler to fix in the bush exept final drive up front been there done that good job again
I think they had hydraulic track tensioner later on , it would have come in really handy. Other then that I'm not to sure and a 4 speed transmission would be better then my 3 speed

I tried using a Atv first and could barely haul one or two logs with a smaller trailer

No I should have thought and I also swapped the gears and chain out a hydraulic motor after that , it's not exactly what I expected.
That J-5 is very very old might be first one in the J-5 model.
