I liked the softer vocals but overall that track was a bit meh to me. Come Home was much, much better overall than this. I feel like this track never got going and even once it kicked in with the full sound towards the end it felt almost out of place. Not their best but still not a terrible track.
You missed the point completely of this track. This is Josh's song for his grandfather who just recently passed away, implying his grandfather and grandma can now be together again.
maybe the song is not 'very special' instrumental wise, but the meaning and the video, man... this has moved me immensely.
@@FlynnMcTaggartI am fully aware without even having to ask that this is a meaningful track for one of the band members. It's touching and a well put together music video.
I'm separately talking about the music itself. I felt that it didn't give the full emotional impact that Come Home did with that sort of cathartic release when it opens up towards the end of the track.
Something people on the internet need to realize is - we can have separate opinions about things. If I write a comment that I found the music to be lacking, it does not mean I'm attacking the bands overall sound and their abilities as song writers. I'm simply saying this wasn't one of their strongest songs musically.
@@lifemusiclive.I'm glad the music spoke to you in that way. Darko certainly have the ability to do emotional songs the right way. The gritty and raw feeling to the vocals with the serene instrumentals often makes one forget they make crushingly heavy music on the regular.
