I'm not sure if it's still sold, but I found my copy in either Target or Walmart I can't remember. I'm pretty sure you can find it online on the EA store or something. It's a collection of the first C&C games put into one disc. If you have Generals Zero Hour you can still install mods in the game. It's only one step different. I put the method in an annotation in the begging of the video check it out.
@MAproductions2 Yeah you can uninstall it...and that's weird...most mods come with a uninstaller so i don't know why you cant uninstall contra

Well..you could use the uninstall that comes included in the mod. Just go to Start>all programs> C&C Generals Shockwave> Uninstall Shockwave. Now if you literally mean EVERYTHING then IDK just go to the directory where I told you to install it and Delete all the shockwave files which I would not reccomend. But I guess it would be possible. Don't take my word for it. But if you wanted to install a different mod doing the whole start menu then uninstall would work fine
@SuperMarwan98 There is an annotation in the begining explaining it. You can't veiw annotations pn mobile though so watch on your Computer.

The mod I linked you to is not a virus. It's because of false positives from your virus protection software. I would never link you to a file with a virus/malware.
Yeah man It's totally safe I promise. The part about the castrating you with a spoon was just their terms of service about like if you give their product away without permission or something like that. It's supposed to be there. Good luck :)

dude, I left a comment 2 months ago, and I don't have problems with Shockwave or any other mod, maybe it's a your PC, maybe it not compatibile with ZH mods...I have Shockwave 1.1 and Rise of The Reds 1.8 in the same time and both work properly (they come from same team and have separate launchers)

Yes, just launch the normal launcher for C&C Generals Zero Hour. Not the shockwave one. :)
Was this after you installed the mod? Or just the game?
If it happened after the mod was installed it may possibly be because it needs to be updated to the 1.04 patch. Just search that up on Google.com
Other than that I have no Idea...maybe your graphics card doesn't meet the requirements.

the problem with you video is that you didnt pick a mod that uses the .big file instead of the installer(which most mods dont have)
DON'T get Shockwave. It's having extreme problems right now (backdoor Trojan, overwrites your original ZH so you can't run it). I'm going to see if I can message the creators, or something, because I really like Shockwave, but all these problems are ruining the mod :/
Theirs only one fix... its to change the end of the orignal short cut 2 -mod inF41.big with a space b4 mod. this worked for me its the only fix and nobody knows it. its hard to explain and their no videos of it.

Well, I got the Trojan fixed (it was a real one BTW) but now when I hit the Shockwave launcher it says "Path not specified" yet when I hit original ZH it runs Shockwave. I can't play original ZH, even after I "Uninstalled" the mod, still kept running Shockwave, had to reinstall ZH for it to work :/
I honestly WANT Shockwave to work, it's a GREAT mod, I LOVED it.
I'm not a ROTR fan, I just like it -___-
I've been looking all over online for you man (and the others as well) but I just can't seem to find a way to get it to work if you installed it with origin, and because I didn't do it with origin and I don't want to buy it again, I can't test things out, which is why I'm not going to recommended some things to you, because I don't know if they could potentially screw up your game or comp. I do apologize. But good luck finding something that works for you!

@Gwilight U extract it to anywhere really man. I extracted to my download folder but you can do it badically anywhere like ur desktop ot my documents
that's good :) sorry for ROTR, it's very good, SHW rocks (for multiplayer), but ROTR is good also (same team - SWR Productions) and they are working to them (1.8 and 2.0), you can have 2 mods at the same time (they have separate launchers), now I'm have vanilla ZH, Shockwave 1.1 and ROTR 1.72, and all works... p.s. Contra sucks

I do believe it should be the same process, but I have gotten a new computer and it's running windows 7 which my copy was a windows XP disc, so I couldn't test it out for you :(
The only mod I've ever had problems with is Shockwave, and I don't know why. I have Rise of the Reds 1.801, and had the mod since 1.7, CWC, and an 'advanced ai' mod. All of them work, but for the advanced AI, I have to disable before I play mods with custom factions (except for ROTR, because Russia and ECA's AI never worked in the first place :p)
I honestly DO want to play Shockwave. I just need some help on how to get past the damn Trojan, and make it NOT overwrite my original ZH. :/
Shockwave is a mod for Generals, he is not referring to Shockwave Flash.
And the uploader was kind of an ass in replying, not gonna lie, a simple explanation would have gone a lot farther than a backhanded retort.
@husam3041 Did you instal the first decade? If not the folder is the one i told u not to in the video. Also what operating sytem are you using?

i dont have the original cd version i have the one downloaded from internet and patched and cracked. so does that mean it wouldnt work? i already did all the steps but except putting it in the "frist decade" which i dont have i put it in the main Zero hour Folder where i launch zero hour. When i click shockwave.launch the screen comes up and nothing happens

After awhile of playing other mods, I actually want to come back to Shockwave. I tried it again, with a different antivirus, and still get the Trojan. This is not the only error I get, the Shockwave launcher also doesn't work, however starting up regular ZH starts up Shockwave 0__o. It completely overwrit the game, so now I can't play regular ZH. Even if I uninstall Shockwave, I can't run regular ZH.
Actually, the virus is real. I don't know why it's not affecting some people, but when I look online, people ignore the virus warning and get crashes, computer freezes, etc. or they dont' get it at all, and the affects of the virus are even worse. I had this mod for about three weeks, just told my antivirus to get take care of the threat, and I had to completely wipe my hard drive, because I couldn't access ANYTHING. I really love this mod, but this is just way too much.
Someone needs to find out how to mod the first decade

The Trojan is actually real as well, ever since I got that error my computer has been freezing regularly, crashing, and running extremely slow. I would LOVE to be able to play Shockwave again, but the fact that I have to completely reinstall ZH if I want to play Campaign, or just regular ZH is annoying, and this Trojan is REALLY getting on my nerves. Can you please give me some advice? Maybe a different download link? (the Trojaned one is from Moddb)
Shockwave put a Trojan Virus on my comp, and won't let me start Zero Hour. The best? If you've always wanted a virus on your computer and a buggy game even after you've uninstalled Shockwave, then I guess so, but this is really irritating.
cant find the command conquer . only can find is EA games + command conquer and thats all
I got a new one and it's at least 10 times faster than this old one. BUT I can't play C&C on it, because the disk I had was only for xp, and I now have a windows 7 :(

so i have origin as the way to play c&c generals zero hour and that file entitled with the first decade does not come up, i tried the other files and it says im not installing it into the right place

I used the first decade annotation and no file could be created and I am using the origin collection of it, I do not believe that makes any difference but I would really like to know what I am doing wrong because I cannot figure it out

I know this video is old, but I don't have "The First Decade" on my PC, when I tried to install Shockwave I got a Trojan Virus on my computer, then I had to uninstall Zero Hour completely because I could not get it to run. If anybody could tell me how I would appreciate it :)

I actually tried it. I put it into what I believe is the equivalent of EA games which would be C:Program Files\Origin Games\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour. The problem is that whenever I bring up the ROTR's launcher it opens up in Origin and plays vanilla Zero Hour. Any ideas on what to do?
