Wilbur Soot and GeorgeNotFound have found themselves in a weird spot. I say weird because the stories are a bit confusing, though that’s not stopping them from putting both their careers at serious risk. Wilbur Soot and GeorgeNotFound have a lot going on, but GeorgeNotFound is especially interesting, as that story is so messy and convoluted, and the fact Dream is involved adds yet another layer to the madness going on here, so let's take them apart piece and piece and see what exactly is going on here.

They were consensually flirting and touching, and he slowly escalated. That's what happened. Thank you, as someone who went through abuse myself. I remember the awful things done and said to me tho I really wish I didn't. But you do get memory issues from this stuff, just cause you can remember the awful things said to you doesn't mean you don't come out of it with mental issues

I was just about to comment on this- personally for me, I have pretty vivid memories of specific moments of my trauma, which occurred about 2-3 years ago now, but since then, my general memory has been awful. I struggle to remember things I’ve done earlier in the day, and yet the specifics of what happened to me are very very vivid. Prior to what happened, my memory was fine.
@@addison_v_ertisement1678they don’t have perfect memories of trauma. Some things may be super vivid and easy to recall, and others can be more blurry and even in some cases repressed. There is a known link between trauma and memory loss/issues
@@addison_v_ertisement1678 I think of it more as a self-affirming statement instead of fact. Like people who say they're okay when they're clearly not okay. The words and motive may be narrated unreliably but the actions: the biting and abuse is believable to me.

To be honest with the George situation I feel like it comes down to is it assault if you make a move while they’re both drunk cuddling, personally I think it was just a horrible move but not sexual assault given the context , and that the most important parts and context were left out by her plus the friend text being made up. My question is who initiated the cuddling and did they ask? Why did her friends let this 18 year old get drunk and cuddle with George in the first place???

@@nexusgiga No, what George did is completely normal, stop being weird if you have any experience with being intimate you would know that it is completely normal to slowly escalate and push boundaries, 80% of all human communication is non-verbal and if you had any interaction with other people at all you would know that, you don't ask for permission for every hand shake or a hug or a kiss and so on, you do it proportionally and depending on the situation, in this case it was completely appropriate.

I think shubble meant that despite her having trouble with remembering some things, shes sure that she remembers a lot of the things he said.
For me, I dont remember certain things or periods of time in my abusive relationship, so sometimes when I bring up specific things that happen, I will emphasize when I very clearly remember something so people understand that what im saying is not fuzzy for me at all.

i don't even keep up with dsmp allegations anymore because it’s so confusing and always ends up so ultimately trivial. i don’t like these guys either, but it feels like everyone’s so ready to hate them and so ready for them to do something truly terrible like hurting a kid that whenever they do something even small (weird and a bit creepy, yes, but ultimately not truly deplorable), like having an intense biting kink or being a bit of a deadbeat boyfriend, people blow it WAY out of proportion. every time a new false allegation comes out, people will take real allegations less and less seriously. it’s super frustrating.
What shubble describes with her memory issues is a common result of ptsd, and while she is vague, in my own experience it is very reasonable that she remembers what wilbur said but might struggle with her memory in other areas. or even just that she struggles with her memory now, after the relationship ended, as it is common for people who experienced abuse to dissociate when they are able to escape the abusive environment.
I don’t think Caiti is manipulating the narrative, moreso that her memory of the night everything went down is probably impaired by how drunk she was. Especially concerning the timing of everything, as being drunk can really mess with your perception of time. I think it makes perfect sense that to her, looking back on her memories, the touching might have seemed more sudden and unexpected than it seemed to George.
Also I think the way you frame George’s second response is disingenuous. To say he “caved to the pressure” when, at least to me, it very much seemed that upon learning more about how Caiti feels about the whole situation, he is apologetic for how it affected her.
I was the same way with my ptsd after my SA. I sometimes go black mentally randomly when it comes to social situations, especially with strangers.

@@LDARAs someone who has experienced something very similar to this, yeah. It’s pretty traumatic having someone you trusted betray that trust and hurt you even after telling them to stop. Ignoring a safe word isn’t “just biting”, it’s biting to the point of pain and ignoring boundaries.
You’re deep into the relationship, you hope they’re going to change and listen, but they don’t. They keep hurting you on purpose for their own pleasure and sometimes you physically can’t escape them, so you have to sit there and take it.
It fucks with you. It’s a form of physical abuse to physically hurt someone over and over after they’ve told you to stop. If he did something like that, I don’t think it was the only traumatic and damaging thing he did, but I can only speculate. People who behave that way and ignore the wellbeing and wishes of their partner do it in every aspect of the relationship. There was probably more things in the relationship that added to the emotional distress and can seriously lead to ptsd.

If there’s one thing the internet does well, it’s the fact that they can band together for a common goal and call people out of their bullshit.
Unless it's the accuser, because nobody asked for proof of what they were saying. Nobody cares about whether or not the accusers are making stuff up, or are wrong. The accusation itself is enough to condemn people, no questions asked.

That being said, though; when the Internet does come to a consensus, they can definitely dig up a lot of dirt on people. But like you pointed out, a lot of people first assume before evidence is brought to light.

NOW this is just MY theory based on the information I’ve gathered:
Dream was being targeted by the friends of Katie. At first they couldn’t find anything on Dream. The only reason I suspect this is because they were trying to party twice. And insisted that Dream drank with them. More coincidence that George was there and him and Katie were cuddling. So they used that story to mess up the career of Dream and George.
Maybe I am wrong but this whole thing seems so fabricated and twisted to do. Especially since the stories contradict each other. Now these two aren’t perfect or not exactly how they perceive themselves online. But this seems unlikely under circumstances.
It just make everyone life easier than not go to party when you are RUclipsr.
Or anyone. Parties and drinking can end badly for anyone really.

I'm only a couple minutes into the video, but as someone who survived their abusive father and has c-ptsd from it. I can remember very clearly certain specific moments, especially down to his phrasing and word choice, but a lot of my childhood is very vague. I don't remember getting from one point to the next in some cases, like, for some specific memories, I don't remember the entire day, not the morning before, or the aftermath, sometimes not even the order of the trauma. I just know three things happened that day, every word said by my abuser, every actual movement of the event, but they may not be in the right order, and I don't remember what escalated the conflict, or ended the conflict.

the George situation still kind of confuses me i didn't watch Caiti before and I'm not going to now, i did watch George but because i don't know how i feel and his content hasn't been great so its not much of a loss now to not watch him, both perspectives seem in a way valid but there were inconsistencies in both and everyone was drunk so there's not proof of either being fully true so i would rather just distance myself from both of their content.
the wilbur situation is much more clear to me because we have seen him bite and stomp on people in videos for years so it's not a crazy concept that he would have abused shelby
