- Plantar fascia pain and dysfunction is a highly debilitating condition. As therapists, you'll see exercise-induced plantar fasciitis more often. This is common in running and jumping athletes such as netballers, track-and-field athletes, and AFL players.
This training video offers two different soft tissue treatment approaches for treating plantar fasciitis. I discuss exercise-induced plantar fasciitis and its biomechanical pathophysiology and etiology, both of which are important to understanding predisposing factors. I introduce the Tom, Dick, and Harry approach of treating the most important muscles and why they are so important to the treatment approach to effectively treat plantar fasciitis. I also discuss the different grades of PF, so important to get treatment at the early stages to gain a quick resolution to the condition.
I move the through the treatment options to the deep medial compartment, our gastro/soleus complex and some local treatment options to the PF.
This is a long one this time so give yourself a half hour to really absorb it all. Love to hear your feedback guys!

Sweet 30 minutes, huge thanks!
Thank you, it all helps hey!!!
Thank you! Had my son follow along and work on my foot.
Glad it helped!
This is a video tailored to perfection. Well done Stuart. Thank you for your hard work.
Many thanks!
Im a mail carrier, so im walking all day. I've been in gradually worsening pain with plantar fasciitis for 3 months now! I got a steroid shot(s) from a podiatrist, and I'm going to a Chiropractor tomorrow who does ART, your technique looks amazingly relieving! I hope they can help me!
Treating PF can be a difficult condition but the quicker you get into it the better chance for a quick recovery
Amazing!
really great video. I really wish it wouldn't have been filmed in a way that only parts of the subject are in focus. It was kind of hard to follow at times when things you were supposed to look at were out of focus in this video.
I came here to comment “cameraman sucks” but you put it a bit more eloquently.
Sorry about that
Great vid, a shame it concentrates on your face a lot & not on the client. Would also be useful to know whether they are supine, prone or side-lying, good info tho
We are addressing that now with our new videos Melodie , thanks for the feedback
My plantar fasciitis is so bad that sometimes when I walk..I immediately drop to the floor because my feet r so on fire
You need to create the environment for it to get better , so make sure all the compartments of the lower leg are addressed
