This is great brotha, I wasn't sure if swapping any predator motor was possible and you dropped a 459cc in it lol. I just got one today its good to kno it can be done just in case I need to swap it out. The predator motors are easy to work with great video
Do you think a 420cc duromax would fit this exact Atv frame cuz I got the same Coleman atv but I took out the original engine cuz it was crap now that you inspired me to build something like this I think ima get a 420cc
I have it about 95% done. It's rideable and has plastics on it. 100% will not fit right in. Lot of cutting, welding and drilling required. Not terrible if you have all the right tools.
Right now it has just a normal 40 series setup from gopowersports. Not happy with it tho, it engages at too low an rpm. Has a ridiculous amount of top end power, but lag in the low end. Gonna try higher stall weights and springs, if I'm not happy with that, probably do a comet primary
@pekisespinoza personally I'm not a fan of that particular chassis. So many suspension issues and not the greatest design. Anything is possible with enough time/money/effort. But i wouldn't bother swapping the engine on one of those unless the machine held some sort of sentimental value to me. Just my .02
Plan to do this with a grizzly 125. Motor is to expensive to rebuild. Where did you get the clutch set up? I read the pipe was random ? Also, what about the intake you bolted on?
Get em interested while they are young and they will stick around. Not always the easiest or most effective way to get something done but it will serve them well into their life and they will be better for it.

Anything is possible with a Sawzall and welder. Send it!
Hello ,for chain to work properly what kind of sprocket/tensioner did you used?
I used 420 chain with the stock sprocket
Finished yet? I have an viper 50cc and will like to do the same. Will IT fit right in?

what Torque Converter did u go with???

Hey I'm dropping a 459 on a quad can you give me a parts list by any chance and where you got them from. So I can order. Thanks
Unfortunately i don't have one otherwise I'd gladly send it lol
Them valves need adjusted sounds like to me on the original engine.
what exhaust is on it ?
Just something I welded together
What exhaust is that
Just a random pipe I got off ebay
Can you tell me a price so you can do the same thing to mine I have the same ATV $$$
I'd say ot cost me about $700 in parts
What was the top speed ?
I've had it to 70ish mph. Still playing with the clutch setup, doesn't rev quite high enough.
With stock parts or you did upgrades and serious questions would it be worth it putting one of this motor on a 2002 Polaris trail boss 325 chasis ?

If you lookup "40 series torque converter " you'll find the setup. I got mine and the intake from gopowersports.
Killer. Thank you for the video and the info. I need ideas like this to keep me busy! Appreciate it.
They're so cute when they are little. Then they become teenagers and grow and opinion.
Lol she's my favorite shop help...for now at least 🤣
