I like how starting from 1:42 the cello starts sounding like a siren. As if to say "GET THE FUCK OUTTA THE WAY!" Kinda fits considering what scene that part starts in.
I was stunned when I read the name Tina Guo in the credits! to have such an amazing real lie professional cellist! They certainly go all out for this show.
I love the whole song but I particularly enjoy the final few seconds when, in the episode, everyone lands in their planned positions and the final pieces are the two donkey decorations on the cake.
***** The music in this song was made by Tina Guo, a cellist who has in fact done a cover of Lindsey once. RUclips it, the cover is of Lindseys CRYSTALIZE. :) Tina also has a very nice Game Of Thrones cover, and some more stuff.
***** Guo is a superstar, hard to see her having time to do a song for MLP, especially since she supposed to be in China lol if she did how ever i will go full fan boy
If you look it up on IMDb, Tina is listed in music department for the episode, as "Composer - Additional music". www.imdb.com/title/tt4534312/fullcredits?ref_=tt_cl_sm#cast so yeah, it IS her. :)

Any connosieurs here? I badly want to know where I've heard the 1:03 to 1:17 part before?!? Especially the first part.. Some classical music.. really touch my heartstrings so to speak. Me diving into classical/and medleys/remixes now for a period again now is a given.. but this particular piece is so fucking beautiful (as any professional would put it) Long post for short question :P Edit: My subconscious works in the most peculiar way sometimes (dunno why I'm writing like Octavia now)(just proves my point further I guess), um anyway, check out "Another day in Paradise" by Phil Collins ( /watch?v=Qt2mbGP6vFI ) . It just stumbled into my thoughts. I wonder if Phil got inspired by the classical theme (if any, I'm sure Collins' song is not what I'm really looking for). or, if I'm mistaken in any case, if Tina Guo subconsciously remembered "Another day in Paradise" when she came up with the part. TLDR; I'm just rambling. Idk. I'm supposed to sleep, that's when the brain starts trolling.
Vinyl lets the music do all the talking. If you want to hear her say something... it's not official but... Epic Wub Time. Fanmade episode, and she drops the beat and makes it sound sweet. Little word of warning: Beware of headphone volume or you'll end up "dubbed" deaf. lol, but seriously... drop the volume some before she drops the bass.
They need to release an extended version of this Vinyl/Octavia duet in a future album; I would totally buy that!

537CH yeah like how they got weird al
WOT. For all these years i did not know this information
Never did I think we'd be hearing dubstep in mlp
Free14nder There were alot of things in this episode that I never thought I'd hear.
Free14nder It's not really Dubstep, more ambient Electronica, based on my limited music knowledge
DJ. FrankenDerp It had wubs in it so in my mind, dubstep. I know shit all about music though :P
Free14nder Happened in the equestria girls vinyl's video
Free14nder There has been rap in season 4, it was only a matter of time before we got some dubstep
wouldn't really say this is Vinyl vs. Octavia, but rather "Vinyl and Octavia's jam session"? something along those lines...
I love the whole song but I particularly enjoy the final few seconds when, in the episode, everyone lands in their planned positions and the final pieces are the two donkey decorations on the cake.
This is my favorite moment in the whole episode ^.^ I was blown away by such a duet of wonders... not to mention the epic visuals!
This sounds like something the living tombstone would make. Good job hasbro lol
Kinda reminds me of Lindsey Stirling
***** So does the violin solo in Rainbow Factory.

VINYL IS MUTE HEADCANNON TIME
Melody Treble VA didnt she talk in one episode? I swear i recall her talking in one
Laharl Krichevskoy no, just fan made stuff probably
starryflame01 well, at least she's not deaf.
Surprisingly, no. One time reading one of the books in character, I used GlaDOs like voice for her...cause who knowsXD
YES I was waiting for this. Thanks!!
Something like that might work.
In terms of musical style, I'm much more of an Octavia myself >_>
But this was still pretty nice!
Lori P I'm a both, so try to imagine how psyched I was xD lol.
best part starts at 0:43
wow. The 1:40 - 2:40 part could be perfect for the Borderlands Series
This was so awesome I couldn't wait untill someone edited the thing and make it play as a one full song. Thanks!
Is it just me or does that part from 1:41-1:49 sound like the Trollolol song?
TheEcthudan Sounds like a race car lol
TheEcthudan I thought so too! looooooooooolololooooooo~
I hear it too XD
TheEcthudan LOL.
Same thing i thought when i first saw the episode
why do I get the feeling that William was listing to Secrets by One Republic between 0:34 and 0:40
Thanks a lot brah :O This was the best part in the episode, IMHO ;)
Now this is music
Thank you so much for posting this is actually really good!
i think the bit at the end was the best
Found my new ringtone.
Holy according to the wiki the real life Tavi Tina Guo worked on the music.... this is too epic! This is crazy!
can someone please make an extended version of 0:34 to 1:23? * w *
1:41 I REALLY HEARD TROLLOLOL🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oof-
1:42
...Dubstepped Troll song?
Yes :3
Sounds like Daniel Ingram may have been hearing some of YourEnigma's stuff.
Actually, this isn't Ingram's work. This was done by the show's background score composer William Anderson.
I love this song
This is MLP? and 0:47 is awesome
Kendethar Zendeth yeah, it's an oficial song
Ngl that bops.

(actual non-show type like Skrillex)
Richard Walkers I concur verily.
Slice Of Hippy Teens.
And people say dubstep is dead. lol d-.-b.
Best part is from 1:24 to 1:40
