I grew up in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada and watched so much Detroit tv growing up. This is such a blast from the past. I remember Mel Far Superstar commercials quite vividly along with Art Van, Father and Son Construction, Waterbed Gallery and Wonderland Music.
Oh geez, I need to see this Detroiters show, I grew up watching all of those ads in the Detroit burbs. Nike Air Force Ones... 29 or two for 50... Converse...15 bucks.. There are some old Little Ceasars Pizza commercials they could do too.
You have to be from the metro area of Detroit to understand the FUNNY of this interview! Or just search on youtube. MAN, I LOVE DETROITERS... GLAD CC PICKED IT UP FOR A 2ND SEASON!!!!!
@@xGMOGaming My point was that people can "understand Detroit culture" by living there and interacting with the people etc. It's not like an exclusive cultural thing, i.e., like an ethnicity. It was an example.
@@henriashurst-pitkanen8735 lol na man, maybe over time after explaining things but the way of life, famous people, famous places, inside jokes & etc. it's always going to be similarities but just like anywhere you go, different cities, different customs. For example, Hardies & Carls Jr. lol calling soda pop and pop soda. Saying McDonald's & calling it Micky Dee's, calling a store Aldi or Kroger & then calling them Aldi's or Kroger's. See what I mean? Its not like a ethnicity, and yeah it's always going to be similarities place to place, we can generalize comparisons between ways of life all day but w/ different people, different customs, it's like saying from New York to San Fransisco, Chicago to Miami my understandings of customs, people and the area is going to be the same.
Detroiters never should have been canceled. Love Tim and Sam 💜💜

Just started watching it and I’m so sad I have no more seasons to watch :(
Only just heard about this guy from his Netflix show which had me in stitches. Glad there’s more to watch out there

I wish they would've mentioned Jim Harbaugh's appearance on Detroiters . That was hilarious!
I live on the west side of Michigan but we get Detroit tv through cable. I remember every commercial he mentioned. “Sexy specs”!!! 😂
I grew up in Western Canada and some reason we got the Detroit ABC channel. "Mel Far to the rescue!" Will forever be stuck in my head 🤣

First
Person is awesome
Am I the only getting subtitles on Jimmy's videos....even when the caption setting is off!
At least he admitted he's from the suburbs, nobody really understands Detroit culture like Detroiters do 🤷🤣
Or people who live there for a while? It's not exactly an ethnicity, dude...
@Henry Ashhurst huhhh??!!! 🤣 what are you getting at? Nobody mentioned ethnicities, it's just a city thing.

Seeing Tim out of character is unsettling.
wasn't "the characters" universally hated by basically everyone ever that's seen it? I love this guy, but that show was such hot garbage.
Patrick Mckeague I had to watch two episodes just to make sure I wasn’t imagining how bad it is
yeah, but Tim Robison was the only one with funny sketches.
Henry zebrowski’s was great as well
@@shawncolasante1786 no it was horrible. And I'm a fan of his.
He does looks more like he should be selling cars in a small town in Idaho, don't he?
First
Tim Robbins looks odd nowadays
i'm not sure how all those people would be into being made fun of...
