The difference between African Americans and African Jamaicans are that we've been socialised differently and are culturally different. But the reality is that we had the same slavery experiences but Americans have discounted and disregarded our experiences, and have been unsympathetic to Jamaicans slavery, colonializations tyranny, torture and the genocide of African Jamaicans. As if our experiences have been less horrific, brutal, disastrous and painful. This is what causes a lot of bitterness between us because we've been treated less than by African Americans and been look down upon, as if we're inferior and insignificant and our sufferings, pains and disadvantages are any less harmful or have not negatively impacted our ancestors, us and our descendats. This has left a bitter taste in our mouths.....(referring to those Jamaicans who has lived in North America and have encountered the snobbery, prejudice and verbal insults 😮 of African Americans). Making us to feel sub-human and alienated, at the same time they turn around and accuse us of doing to them ; what they've been doing to us for ages.
The last point was so accurate, they are so oblivious of their treatment of black foreigners, yet they claim that we marginalize them in their own land. As Black people we really need to lift our game and abandon these slave traits that still remain with us, since we definitely focus too much attention on silly insignificant things that only further hurt and divide us, than move us forward.
Oh my goodness, you too are hilarious 😢😂😮😅
Enjoy the chat. We all black people think and do the same thing. See no difference between Ja or American

Depending on where you are in Jamaica some people will stare at you because you stand out as a foreigner; don’t ask me how they know but they do.
