I was having flashbacks to my trip to Australia. Every day we had snacks of Dairy Milk chocolate, craft honey roasted macadamia nuts and Darrel Leah licorice. The Australian Dairy Milk chocolate was so much better than the Canadian version. When we looked at the ingredient lists to see why that might be the only thing we could see that might have made the difference was because the Canadian version was made with milk whereas the Australian version was made with cream. Not sure if that's still the case but I remember every bite. And the rum. Yum!
The Pascall Snifters aren’t from Australia, I googled and they are a Kiwi (New Zealand) lolly. Hokey Pokey is sold here but it’s more common in NZ as well. Marble was my favourite, they discontinued it years ago and have just recently brought it back but I don’t eat chocolate anymore so I haven’t tried it again.
B & M own a company called Heron Frozen Foods which buy chilled and frozen foods in the same way B & M do, that's why you get chilled foods in the stores.
Love it! I’m from Australia and I have never seen that minty sniffers chocolate before but the rest I’ve all seen. I don’t like regular dairy milk chocolate, I’m a white chocolate person. Since bringing out hokey pokey caramilk that is hands done my favourite! They’re also starting to do more white chocolate bars now here like white choc snickers and twix bars and also more variations of kit Kat (Kit Kat gold- which is their version of caramilk I’d say).
Australian chocolate doesn’t contain palm oil hence the difference in taste for example in the Uk Cadbury uses 20%cocoa 23%milk but in Australian it’s 27% cocoa 24% milk also Australian caramilk is better than Uk caramilk we altered the taste
hi from South Australia!!! yes all this chocolate is normally sold in our supermarkets- the caramilk that you've tried (similar to hokey pokey but without the honeycomb) has blown up here and is now used in everything- we even have a caramilk McFlurry!! my favourite Cadbury block is the fruit and nut- not sure if you guys have that there!
Right, in the U.S. we just call 100s and 1000s sprinkles, although sometimes they are called jmmies. Friendly's restaurant has a sundae called the Jim Dandy that has chocolate jimmies/sprinkles.
100's & 1000's are called either sprinkles or jimmies in the US & Canada, depending on where you are. Generally, the small round ones are sprinkles, and the long thin ones are jimmies, however, in some places both are sprinkles.
Hello from AUSTRALIA Love diary milk chocolate. And so many different kinds here and new ones always coming out My favourite is “Black Forest” We also had a limited edition one of hundred and thousands which was really good too. Also a clinkers version which is a lollie made from pascals. Have never seen the snifflers one before Love your videos
Aww penny 🥺 my dog was petrified on bonfire night. They got banned most places in Wales due to covid so people where in the park next to mine setting them off so so loud my dog ran upstairs under my bed shaking and panting he was so scared so I spent my night laying on my bed peeping my head through the gap to talk and calm him down and then my friend mentioned classical music can help dogs so I put classical music for dogs on spotify and it calmed him down soo much!! 💕
Hey from Australia The snifers bar is from new Zealand the rest are Australian. People had a petiton to bring the marble bar back and they finally did last year. The caramilk is my favourite out of all of them.
Love you Kate and Alex you are so brightening on a sad day and you make everything look so yummy anyway GOD BLESS oh so glad you picked up Penny such a sweetie and so is BOB
Snifters, Hokey Pokey and Caramilk are all kiwi things. Caramilk is sold in Aus, but snifters were the best back in NZ and have been discontinued for years now.
Caramilk was still Aussie, back in the day. It's just that NZ we're the first thi bring it back as a special edition. But yes, snifters and hockey pokey are not Aussie.
Hi Kate and Alex! I love Chocolate! I wish we had these Chocolate varieties here in the USA! They all looked delicious! Loved seeing Penny! Hope you have a great week? See you soon.
All of those flavors looked really good, especially the honey pokey😃. Penny was amazing. When I had my dog, Rusty, because he was a ginger, he would eat any and everything. I could never eat chocolate around him. He would have gobbled it down and I would had a vet bill in the hundreds of dollars.😲 Have a good week.
We have samples at Costco and Sam's. I got back from your lovely country and didn't know Y'all have TK Maxx where we have TJ Maxx. I did hop into a M&S and checked that out! I hope you have a great day. I did see fireworks Oct. 30th and wondered why y'all had them on that night.
Yes!!! Ours is TKMaxx and yours is TJMaxx how funny!! Hope you enjoyed M&S! We seem to have had fireworks for the last month pretty much every other night! Not sure why
I like randomness, so I'm all for the B&M videos. You make good choices so it will be fun to watch. Kate, I proudly call myself a "caramel snob" because it must me truly gooey or it's not good! I think you can proudly call yourself this as well, in a good way! :) I absolutely LOVE honey comb. I was born and raised on the Washington Coast (US Pacific Northwest) and my family would visit a candy store on the coast; they called it Sea Foam, but it's the same thing. It's so good, it's my favorite treat so I was excited to see the Hokey Pokey bar. - Question, what is "hundred and Thousands"?? Thank you for a great video! I'm a day late watching but it made my day already. Take Care!
Hello guys, looking well. This is first chance I've had in a while to catch up with both. And oh my goodness I love the little dance, shoulder roll way of introducing the treat of the week. I actually had to go back 15 to rewatch because it was so cool I just froze taking it in. Now I need to go back a few videos to catch all the videos I've missed. Love you guys and your content. Btw, I have 3 kids, two are Virgo, and Libra like you guys. Only my girl who is the Libra is also the oldest, then my older son is a Virgo. You guys are so much fun, thanks. 🙂💞
Being from Australia 🇦🇺 Never seen or heard of snifters lol Marble was taken away for a little while but I’m glad it’s back Neapolitan I was a bit on the fence UNTIL I tried it 🤤 Anything hokey pokey is good Missed out on trying the picnic one Hope you guys enjoyed trying Aussie Cadbury ♥️
This is awesome that other countries are beginning to get other products. I'm in Australia, and recently discovered a store here called Cheap as Chips have been getting slot of American stuff like cereals and chocolates.
Is aus I think most of us call them sprinkles but some people or brands would say hundreds and thousands haha :D Have you tried fairy bread? White bread, butter and sprinkles.. YUM! best childhood treat
We call the honeycomb , sponge toffee here and Hokey Pokey is a dance “ put your left foot in , take your left foot out , put your left foot in and shake it all about, and you’re doing the Hokey Pokey.😂🤣😂🤣 I used to have the recipe for the sponge toffee , it was kind of testy to make, needed to make it on a cold crisp day as humidity makes it stay sticky and not have as many bubbles. My Dad had a few recipes he’d ask me to make for him when I visited and this was one of them. Those bars look really good, except for the mint ones, wish we had them here. What are Hundreds and thousands like?

Such yummy stuff you found to try! I’m always so excited when I see new marvelous creations, but always find nothing beats the original. There’s so much stuff that you can try there for videos! I love going to the shops with Vicky when I’m visiting. Poor Penny with her anxiety with fireworks. Vicky just started using CBD for her dog because of how bad he gets from fireworks. There was fireworks last week for something, and he poked his head up, but laid right back down and wasn’t pacing or shaking like he always has. We use it for grizzly for his anxiety, and it’s been so helpful. Wishing You guys such a great rest of the week and weekend ahead! Can’t wait to see who’s gonna pull out there win this weekend!! Hugs and love to you all! ❤️❤️😘😘😘😘😘😘
Yeah nothing can ever beat the original Marvellous creations can it!! We did get bob some CBD a while back to help him but hadn’t thought to try Penny with some. We will have to give that a go. Thanks Somer. So glad it’s helped grizzly and your friend Vicky’s dog! Hope you have a wonderful week and we will see you Sunday 🥰♥️🥰♥️🥰♥️🥰♥️
I keep forgetting that Nestlé makes KitKat everywhere in the world except here in the U.S. where it's made by Hershey. I really want to get a U.K. Cadbury caramel egg as Hershey has changed the caramel recipe in the last 10 years.
Kate, my love for chocolate is outta control. 😋😋😋 There's no stopping when you eat a bar like Symphony Bars here in the USA. How do you keep your hair so beautifully curly?

The Cadbury dairy milk with caramel is my favorite besides Ghirardelli. I’ve never had chocolate with tea, so I’m may have to try that. Do you put milk in your tea or drink it black? How should I do this? Haha!
The Australian chocolate bars used to be 250g each, but they reduced them back in the naughties to 200g to save money but the price didn't change, and seems they have reduced them again. Also, last time I went into B&M they didn't have any, and TopDeck is my fav to buy :)
We have lots more Cadbury chocolate creations here in Australia...but it's good that you've found a few in that store. Wondering if the dream bar was affected by heat ?
I really like that yall now do more candies and snacks that you have bought yourself. What made yall decide to do more videos like this instead of just fan boxes ??
We have always seen so many things that we’ve wanted to try but never got chance as we had so many boxes and we always felt like we must get those videos live as soon as possible where as now we are only accepting a few boxes at a time so we can take time to try some of the things we get here in the UK!
Fabulous episode 👏 i have actually tried most of those from B&M's too. I havent had the kitkats. My fave was actually the Perky Nana one. I have also seen the Aussie Darrell Lee choc bars in their too. There was a fab one with pretzel pieces and orange gummies. Delish! Definitely more pls guys x
Thank you Helen!! Ah no way. That’s awesome you’ve tried them too. I haven’t seen the Perky nana!!! Looks delicious as I love banana flavours 😍😍 oh yes. I did too!! Mmm I hadn’t seen that flavour though. I’ll have to keep an eye out!! Glad you’d be up for seeing more 😀 x
Yes, I would like to see more videos like this. It's interesting to see what your local shops carry. I'm not sure if we have a store here in Colorado that features other countries snacks. What a nice reprieve from writing this has been. 🙂 And now, back to work so I can meet my deadline.
Aw poor Penny, we have a mini schnauzer that is terrified of just about any loud or unexpected noise, she must be in my arms when she hears something loud. Those Cadbury candy bars all looked yummy, but the one with the honeycomb in it would be my choice. I'm a diabetic so I wouldn't eat a whole big candy bar like that in one sitting, but I'd be tempted. Gosh I would love to try a chocolate mint tea, is it only sold in England? I drink mint tea frequently especially if I'm not feeling good, but I think with chocolate it would be a real treat. Thanks for sharing this fun with us.
I think you will find it's all New Zealand flavoured Chocolate. I'm from NZ but I think Australia and New Zealand basically now can find both lots of iconic food in each country.
Here in the US we have a candy bar named 100grand like that last one y'all ate, but I never was a huge fan of them but them candy bars you guys have look so nice
Hi guys! Long time fan! I’m Australian and never ever heard of Snifters 😂 unless I’ve been lied to for the last 29 years, not an Aussie thing haha Thanks for another Great video 😊💃
@@ThisWithThem Yeah, I’ve had pineapple lumps, love the texture not so much the flavour. We get lots of pascals, the caramels are by far my fav! I really think you guys would love them. If you haven’t already tried them?
@@ThisWithThem pascils is a new Zealand brand pineapple lumps is New Zealand candy. Pascals candy was made out of the Cadbury factory but the factory closed down in New Zealand and went to Australia so it probably explains why Australia now has a lot of iconic New Zealand candy.
Hi guys. So the Snifters chocolate is actually a New Zealand one - back when Cadbury still had a factory in NZ, there was a treat called Snifters. They stopped making these in the early 2000’s due to lack of popularity and the machine which made the inside mint nougat broke. Hokey pokey is also a NZ term for honeycomb.
Who else remembers the song The Hokey Pokey: ruclips.net/video/pJjgxXCkMYk/видео.html I've seen bumper stickers that say, "What if the hokey pokey really is what it's all about?"
I'm glad you guys like different things. Grandpa used to say "If everyone liked the same thing, then everybody would be after your Grandma." 😀
Haha brilliant that's a great quote! He's right if everyone liked the same thing life would be pretty boring 😁
Hahah awww that’s so sweet ☺️
We get all of these chocolate flavours in New Zealand :) Snifters is definitely a NZ thing!
I was having flashbacks to my trip to Australia. Every day we had snacks of Dairy Milk chocolate, craft honey roasted macadamia nuts and Darrel Leah licorice. I’m Australian and never ever heard of Snifters 😂 unless I’ve been lied to for the last 29 years, not an Aussie thing haha
Thanks for another Great video 😊💃
Hey Sam. Thanks for watching! They're made by Pascall's they do the pineapple lumps I believe. Have you had those?
@@ThisWithThem Yeah, I’ve had pineapple lumps, love the texture not so much the flavour. We get lots of pascals, the caramels are by far my fav! I really think you guys would love them. If you haven’t already tried them?
I wonder if they might be New Zealand. Pineapple lumps I think are originally from New Zealand. I haven't heard of snifters either.
That breakaway bar is like a Time Out 👍
Mint chocolate is my favorite 👩🏻 those looked really interesting though.
yay another awesome video coming up :)
Enjoy ☺️
I'm in Australia and never heard of the sniffers?? I'll have to have a look....but all the others, yep!
They're from pascall's the same people who make pineapple lumps, have you seen those? 😊
@@ThisWithThem they don't ring a bell but I'll have to look out for them....
I’d love to send you a box of some of the other new flavours 🇦🇺💕
we get dairy milk in canada!
😀😀😀
I was going to say that we don’t have that Snifters here in Australia
It was a sad day when the snifters went 😭. I'm from New Zealand
Alex, have you tried putting mint tea with cocoa powder/milk? It’s a more healthy version of mint hot chocolate
If you try to sell Kate something that says "gooey caramel" you better made darn sure that caramel is gooey! Or you will be in the dog house lol
Hahaha 😂 you’ve got that right 😂😂
Penny is so cute!
poor penny im sorry fireworks scares her
Aussie kit kats are different to UK kit kats, and they are so much better. You should do a comparison between a regular UK and Aussie kit kat.
