I built a 96 E350 panel short back in 2012. Used the front suspension and 4wd from a 94 F350. I had dual alternators and dual batteries on a gas 408W. Used a 5kw inverter, had 1 1.5kw baseboard heater 1 750w baseboard heater, 1 3kw forced air heater and an RV rooftop heater/ac. Spray-in Berliner the bottom, the engine bay and the rear interior. Then I installed my wiring and spray foamed the the walls and ceiling and laid dynamat on the floor. I did glue vinyl Z channel to the shell of the van before all of this and my interior panels screwed to the Z strips. The Z channel was a thermal break. I went camping in Minnesota in January without ever being cold. I wish I had videos of the build. I had a Murphy style fold down bed so I could still use the interior when I wasn’t sleeping.
Pelican cases rule! I custom cut all the foam on a rifle case to fit a competition radio and antennas so I could easily get them out of the vehicle to prevent theft. Whole setup is somewhere in CA when I sold it down there. Probably still working perfectly too.
@DariusBuildz I'm from VA the home of the HOGS and trust me that is not a normal day in the South for a normal person. Lol. A pulled pork with slaw and some beans, some Mac is enough.
Scotto has multiple running project cars and Vin has a fun car he isn't going to sell (allegedly). Are we in an alternate universe? I'm cool with it if we are, I just hope rail car is the next long-dormant project that Scotto brings to life.
As a lad who has lived in NC his whole life, seeing Scotto enjoy NC cuisine made me smile. and I grew up in a big family so we had a church van, would love to do this to the family rig lol
You definitely need to come back and bring it over old 105, on the Linville Gorge!!! Maybe check out some twisty area roads that you need to bring some cool cars on too!
I think this just became one of my dream cars.. Imagine it with a luxury interior, LCD screens, leather, diamond stitch.. but on the outside all black bed liner and dark tints..
Take a stop in Hurricane, UT on the way home and take it out to Sand Hollow with Matt from Matt’s Off-road Recovery, to give it a little shake down on the rocks.
You will usually find that alot of the f250/350 front axles from 99 thru 2004 are a dana 50 axle and to find that out the pinion nut is a 1and 1/8ths inch as a dana 60 is a 1 and 3/8s inch .... pay attention
Sooooo jealous!!! Ive always wanted a lifted 4x4 van like this! I will never have one due to being a broken vet that dosnt make shi* for money. But Damn it looks sooooo Awesome! And must cost a ton of cash now days. In march i rolled my truck in a snow storm and on june 30th i was hit by a car while i was walking it was a hit and run! Now i have 4 screws a plate and a rod holding my left arm together and a ton of stitches, vehicles lately have not been my friend! No tickets no accidents until this shit year of 23' fu** this year
Now A Bad Ass Van!!! It’s amazing how the most boring vehicles can be transformed into something so Awesome with a lot work and in this case dfinitely a lot of MONEY!!!💸💸💸💸💸
Dang man, sweet rig. Nothing like a little southern hospitality for ya. You should definitely hit Uwharrie there in NC for the virgin off road adventure. If at all possible Definitely plan on hitting up moab UT after making your wat through Colorado. There are some sick trails through the rocky mountains. Love this content Scotto! (Also the VR 86) (big VR boi here) keep that shit up man 🤙
ironically i didnt even see this haha would've made finding the video much faster lol i just went straight to your profile, looked at list of videos to find the 1st one
Here's a tip for cutting and welding older gas tanks. Position the tank to a running cars exhaust. Let it reach operating temperature. Problem solved😁. An older mechanic taught me that and it works.
Hit the San Juan mountains in Colorado. I did part of the Alpine Loop in my UJOR equipped E350 (on 37s) and it was awesome seeing the looks on all the Jeeper’s faces.
Grub n Build would be an amazing series. You could find different shops across the country that specialize in obscure and cool shit, bring them a car and go eat at all the different spots in the surrounding are. I'd watch it
Specifically, there is a really beautiful fun road just north of Ashville directly off of I40 called Hurricane Creek Rd (35°43'24.1"N 83°01'35.7"W) that would be fun as well as some other stuff in that area (Pisgah National Forest). There's also windrock offroad park in east TN, Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area (my backyard), Ozark and Ouachita National Forests, and then a ton of stuff on BLM land in NM and AZ (that I know less about but I know is there).
Roadkill 2023 is August 12th, yall should come out to pontiac for that, would love to see that van in person. Or any other hoonigan car for that matter
I can’t believe you were less than 2 miles away from me a mind didn’t come by and say hi! 😂 Loving this project man looking good also I didn’t realize how tall you were til you were around those dudes.
Head to Linville Gorge, head up to Wiseman’s View on old NC105. After that stop by Fonta Flora Brewery in Nebo, then head to Lake James and we can take you out on the boat. Head to Asheville and drive Hurricane Creek trail or go to Uwaharrie and run some trails.
I would love to see you guys visit Cerro gordo, would be a good test for church van. Great place to visit, and two of my favourite streamers together would be cool!
YO! Stop in Van Buren or Fort Smith, Arkansas! Just right off of I-40 on the way back! I got a whole Youth Group that would LOVE ride this church van! 😁😁⛪
That thing looks 100% badass. The guys at U-Joint are about to be flooded with orders... Hell, my mom wants one.
Scottos motto: "if you want something done, sometimes you gotta get somebody else to do it"
If a scotto project gets done somebody else done it.
Scotto Gary and Zack would be a dope road trip!
That's be entertaining for sure
Yep and maybe that will get them to reboot the podcast
Pick up ranger Dan

Church van is looking awesome. I love the KB43 tag they did in honor of Ken.
Pelican cases rule! I custom cut all the foam on a rifle case to fit a competition radio and antennas so I could easily get them out of the vehicle to prevent theft. Whole setup is somewhere in CA when I sold it down there. Probably still working perfectly too.
"Snack Break" is one of my favorite features of Hoonigan videos. I would love to see a series about "Scotto & The Snack-On Bois."
*That looked like too much food for a human at one time until you remember Scotto is the size of an NBA shooting guard with an NFL tight-end body*
That’s regular lunch portion for us in NC lol😊
@DariusBuildz I'm from VA the home of the HOGS and trust me that is not a normal day in the South for a normal person. Lol. A pulled pork with slaw and some beans, some Mac is enough.
I was waiting for a mound of food lol not just a regular #4 combo
I'd eat it. I'm just under 160 at 5'11" no issues
Looks like it's the same size as my Thursday night steak burger when no ones around
The fact that you have always shown your mistakes is why I will always watch. It makes it super relatable for us common folks.
Super impressive work from the U-Joint team.
Thanks!
Scotto has multiple running project cars and Vin has a fun car he isn't going to sell (allegedly). Are we in an alternate universe? I'm cool with it if we are, I just hope rail car is the next long-dormant project that Scotto brings to life.
Well, Scotto does buy a running car every once in a while, so...
As for Vin's car roulette, we'll have to wait and see.
This is a great show! People work on scotto’s stuff, he rates food, and you get a fully functioning vehicle in the end! It’s perfect!
That KB43 tag on the rear bumper was a lovely touch
As a lad who has lived in NC his whole life, seeing Scotto enjoy NC cuisine made me smile. and I grew up in a big family so we had a church van, would love to do this to the family rig lol
That Van is looking dope but that pulled pork and brats sandwich, DAMN. I hope their business bumps with your avant-garde reviews.
Bruh, 12 bones is the bomb! I still dream about that place. Shoutout Asheville
"Bro Dozen"! LOL!!!! That was funny! The owner guy gave some low tone pokes... Loved it!
The og "vanaconda" was so badass when i got to see it way back when in California like 16 years ago😎👍 glad to see peoples dreams coming true!
👍🏻👍🏻
What car will Scotto be towing behind this van on his roadtrip back to California?
An Audi/VW 😂
I don't know, but I'm sure it won't run.
the Nova
Broken Audi
You definitely need to come back and bring it over old 105, on the Linville Gorge!!! Maybe check out some twisty area roads that you need to bring some cool cars on too!
What a turn out much love and respect to the guys who build the van!
Thanks!
A u joint van build for towing is literally my dream rig.
Finally someone turning on the lug nuts by HAND first before rippin them down with a air gun. Don’t cross thread your studs n lugs kids
😉👍🏻👍🏻
12 bones!!! Omg love that place.
Looks fantastic. Head south about an hour to Greenville, SC! Great car scene along with BMW NA & Michelin NA headquartered here.
these giys are awesome at engineering things. they better be making money.
I think this just became one of my dream cars.. Imagine it with a luxury interior, LCD screens, leather, diamond stitch.. but on the outside all black bed liner and dark tints..
👌🏼
This is a absolute dream build of mine!
Ujoint off road, great job! Your vans look amazing!!!!
Thanks very much!
The ujoint crew are top shelf.. that KB43 badge is SICK!! Role the church van through northern Colorado!!!
Take a stop in Hurricane, UT on the way home and take it out to Sand Hollow with Matt from Matt’s Off-road Recovery, to give it a little shake down on the rocks.

Scotto Gary and Zack would be a dope road trip!. Holy that Hawk brake pad cut-away was pretty well done.
Awesome build!
Church Van came out sick... one of my favorite builds so far this year👌👌👌
Go to uwharrie ohv park that isn’t to far of a drive from that shop and wheel it! Then hit different places similar to that on the way home
Don't leave us hanging Scotto. What's up with the bus? That thing is sweet!!
Sooooo jealous!!! Ive always wanted a lifted 4x4 van like this! I will never have one due to being a broken vet that dosnt make shi* for money. But Damn it looks sooooo Awesome! Now A Bad Ass Van!!! It’s amazing how the most boring vehicles can be transformed into something so Awesome with a lot work and in this case dfinitely a lot of MONEY!!!💸💸💸💸💸
Scotto enjoyed watching this conversion 👍👍
Nicely done. I vote for you to stop by Moab, UT and do some 4x4 trails for testing on your way back.
That thing is sick. Definitely could use one of those in the North East. That hog zilla hoagie looked fire
KB43 is an excellent touch!!!
Love the lifted vans with 4x4 so amazing, could be a great daily driver great in winter where I live in MN.
I would watch the "Scotto's Global Garage and Grub Crawl" show
This is gonna look awesome towing that merkur to gymkhana grid.
Love this build this thing is sick I love van offroad builds
The Rimrocker trail, it's a 160 mile overland trail between moab, ut and montrose, co. Some of the best overlanding to be had.
Did you miss part 1? Check it ruclips.net/video/HyZ7M_Ajqyk/видео.html
Is part 3 when you put on the 26 inch wheels and off road tires?
Overland trip with the boys perhaps? Gonna need to get the buggy ready for that though. Would be sick to watch either way
When you make the trip back to Cali come down I-20 through Mississippi and stop in Vicksburg so I can fangirl in person😂
ironically i didnt even see this haha would've made finding the video much faster lol i just went straight to your profile, looked at list of videos to find the 1st one
I love that idea man!! Go on a road trip with the boys and buy something sick to tow back🤘
Visit tail of the dragon! It’s on the way back as you cross from NC to Tennessee. It’s a must!
The Anderson plug to jumper cable setup is CLUTCH for all sorts of situations, especially having a port front and rear...
So dope, absolutely love these vans! Need to bring this beast out to Colorado when you visit us at K Series Parts so we can see it attack the Rockies
Right when the guy starts talking about Scotto's tank...the TIG goes on full blast. My ears!
That this is sick.
I’m CAINT WAIT for the road trip.
Bad Ass Off Road Van. It looks off the hook 👍🏻💪🏼🙌🏻🏆
Should be a new channel from Hoonigan that is just called scotto does stuff. I would watch every episode.
And than I would re watch it
Never wanted a Van Soooo bad in my lifeeee
Here's a tip for cutting and welding older gas tanks. Position the tank to a running cars exhaust. Let it reach operating temperature. Problem solved😁. An older mechanic taught me that and it works.
Wooop wooop. “Adventure with Scotto” episode 2. Let’s go bud. 🤘
"I love watch other people working on my cars."
This function is included with being the HSIC at Hoonigan... 😂😁😜
You guys should have recorded the way back home driving that monster. Amazing.
This is what vans should all look like
Hit the San Juan mountains in Colorado.
I'd watch it
I would watch a lunch time with Scotto series so much
That Mexican Ford Carryall Scotto bought 6 months ago would have been a much cooler rig to mod.
My favorite Hoonigan Food reviews!!!!
Specifically, there is a really beautiful fun road just north of Ashville directly off of I40 called Hurricane Creek Rd (35°43'24.1"N 83°01'35.7"W) that would be fun as well as some other stuff in that area (Pisgah National Forest). Best to run Hurricane creek before the wrap! CAn be tight for a full size so expect some rash.
@@ujointoffroad Pinstripes just show you actually use it!
@@senrusho True!
Y'all should definitely check out a Buccees.
Roadkill 2023 is August 12th, yall should come out to pontiac for that, would love to see that van in person. Or any other hoonigan car for that matter
The kb43 plate is proper class❤
While in North Carolina you should hit Uhwarrie and ride a few trails to put it to the test.
I can’t believe you were less than 2 miles away from me a mind didn’t come by and say hi! 😂 Loving this project man looking good also I didn’t realize how tall you were til you were around those dudes.
I like the use of a Da Baby style beat in this video. Def a subtle salute to Carolina
Run that rig through the desert route across I-40. Awesome drive into Southern California
the best thing Hert and the others leaving is that Brian iis way more on camera and it is awesome!
Great transformation. Bring it to Ngong Hills in Kenya, East Africa. And Lets go to Maasai Mara for a game drive.
have to go through Creed Colorado, lots of great trails. It's an old mining town.
YES! I’ve done that road several times, back in the day. In Vanaconda
YO! Stop in Van Buren or Fort Smith, Arkansas! Just right off of I-40 on the way back! I got a whole Youth Group that would LOVE ride this church van! 😁😁⛪
Great video! Also hearing it was great knowing it to prior to the 2:00 mark of this video ❤
It looks awesome! As for 4Wheelparts? They're awesome, I've been buying parts from them for about 20 years.
Nice nod to the goat with the "KB43" bumper badge.

Need some of those kb43 plates in the store. I buy alot of stuff. Love the survival pack first aid kit I got
20:48 Load up and go check out Sparks Nevada (Reno) lots of cars out there and tons to do, right by Lake Tahoe 🤘🏼
Stop by North Wilkesboro Raceway. It's about 1h 45m north. Legendary Nascar track that sat abandoned for 20+ years until last year.
Head through the Tail of the Dragon visit Killboy on the roadtrip.
I want to see a BAJA UPDATE!!!! CHURCH VAN AND SCUMBUG are headed to the BAJA 1000.
scotto has such a sick vibe
Never thought of cutting the door panel to set up for switches!
Windrock park in east TN, Hawk Pride off-road in north Alabama
Should stop at the 25th annual 4x4 blast in pikes county Illinois on Aug 10 and 11 to test out Offroad capability
I would love to see Scott do the trans America trail in this bad boy!
Also, I don’t like how much I want a church van now…
That thing looks sick! I want one.
A+ subject matter and content, C- filming, everything around the van was soo dark
Ya get what you pay for.
What a weapon!
