Actually you can still get one very similar with some better upgrades from "Sloan" Kwik Load. Troy is the original designer of this style trailer. They hold the patents. www.kwikload.com/

It's nice to see a demo of the now out of business Peeples Trailer Corp Texas Rollback demo'd on YT since so many have come after. I just bought mine (a 16" with winch) from an old friend. I'm the 3rd owner. Do you recall any of the OE data on yours? Brand of axles? Brand of e-Brakes? This far removed I didn't get any paperwork, and the trailer info sticker has faded. I know I'll need to do some maintenance to it and though I'm sure I could figure out what components are on it, if you recollect what was on yours I'd be thankful for a starting point. You've given me a number of ideas for upgrades. I do want to put some boxes in mine to hold tie down materials. I hadn't thought of a nose box like your though. If I may ask, what grommet did you use to seal the box to the FGlass fairing (mine has that as well). Thanks! Any suggestions on brand of paint for any particular reason?

Hello there Ferrari Guy, well you got the right trailer if you are moving low profile vehicles. What was "OE" doesn't matter much, what matters is how you will be using that trailer moving forward. Yes, the Dexter brake components last longer but the value added parts perform just as well. What I would address first would be the suspension. Get the heaviest leaf spring you can find and replace all the bushings with bronze and greaseable pins. Pull the brake wire out of the axle tubes and tie wrap them on the outside and go thru all your connections with soldier and shrink wrap. you'll thank me later for that. The cut edges on the rock guard I covered with door edge guard from a roll that was purchased from Autozone. After all the metal work was done I had the trailer sandblasted and covered with red oxide primer and top coated with a semigloss Rust Oleum farm tractor paint. Good luck with your project!!

@@fasteddietransport5263 Thanks for the reply Fast Eddie! I'll keep that advice in-mind! I haven't even pulled the wheels of yet to inspect/service the brakes/hubs, but that's next. I'll have to figure out what size it takes if replacement is needed. I hadn't thought about replacing the leaf springs/bushings but that'll be on my list now as well as addressing the wiring. I'll be a low usage trailer for the moment but that might change eventually. I also want to weld in some recessed handles to the fenders for easier lift-off. I've already gone full LED on it.

I have the same exact trailer but mine is 24ft. Where can I get the hydraulic cylinder or similar setup. You did an awesome job by the way. 👏🏾

You have a 24ft, that's awesome! I got the cylinder from CF Bender, which is a very good company to work with. Good Luck!
