Great video, I have 1G fiber internet, Right now I have a Asus GT-AX 11000 pro for gaming and Wifi, I am looking to another Router, I was think of getting another Asus Ax11000 pro, Or 2 Asus zenwifi pro ET12, Which setup do you think will give me faster speeds with more courage?
Here in North Carolina Spectrum Time Warner internet is minimum 200Mbps, I upgraded to 1 gig last week and had to upgrade my router and after waiting forever for the AXE-16000 I went ahead and got this one.

@@EclipseReviews $20+ for a single antenna is a bit steep I think. I’m trying “8dBi Wireless Router Antenna for ASUS AC68U AC88U AC66U, RP SMA Interface Omni Radiation Antenna, for 2.4G/5G Dual Frequency Wireless Router/Wireless LAN(4PCS) from Amazon. 4 antennas for $17ish. If I had a guess the wifi distance is back to normal. I don’t really have a scientific way to test it though. Before I bought the roughy years ago the reviews I ignored consisted of negative reviews complaining about how fragile the antennas were.
@@ReefMimic that’s a more reasonable price for $17. One of my antennas keeps falling down after so many of me moving it around, so just tape to make it tighter 😀
I have the same router. my internet keep cutting of every month it is cause by router. do you have that experience? What is your WAN setting for renew DNS? is it aggressive or normal?
The router should be stable, unless you have the option in the settings > Administration > System (tab) > Enable Reboot Scheduler, turned on this will reboot your router. DNS I have set to normal.
@@EclipseReviews I use Reboot Scheduler at 5am after router is having issue and getting disconnect. Yes I changed to DHCP frequency to normal mode used to be aggressive a while it does fix it until I updated to latest firmware. My router latest firmware is 3.0.0.4.386_49675. before that firmware update it only crash like once a month. Now it crash like every 2 weeks. Smart Connect disable.

You will need a WiFi 6e device for you to see the 6Ghz band, if you are having issues and using an Itel WiFi chipset make sure you are using the most updated drivers as I have issues with not seeing the network till I updated.
All that game sever crap was a marketing ploy and failed to mention that those services require $. Personally never tried the paid services. Still not fond a trend micro controlling the firewall and private information sent to them in the process. If you read the trend micro privacy policy you’ll see what I’m talking about. If you choose not to use their firewall service by opting out of sending your information to them, you will have no firewall available. Not something I’m fond of in my opinion

Thanks, I just upgraded my 5 year old TP Link Dual band. Couldn't get my PC which has wifi 6e motherboard to find the band.
