Some people fail to realize your not gonna get low low ping unless you live near a server. Gaming routers are meant to help improve how consistent your ping will be along with less latency.
Agreed. Some people either forget about it in the moment or grow desperate. Just sticking with a decent router that delivers fair quality without bring crazy expensive is a good deal.
But lucky me I live in South Carolina, so I can see how farther people would fair differently.

I’ve only seen a bit of this video you can re programme your router by changing just a few settings for more consistent ping rather then fluctuating a lot by just changing a few things like up and down by lowering a bit to make a consistent speed to reduce ping spike aka a friends mobile wants photos, just little things. I know these few things seem obvious but I won’t go to in depth cause it depends on you sir where you want your internet to go.. Even shortening your radiaus down to join more local people rather then joining a host 400 miles away, you can cut down to joining a host 40 miles away, but that again depends on you. I got a netgear that I’ve tuned to join hosts just in my state/county rather then Europe. Closer is better.
Okay so reading about this router for a while : actually there’s a specific port for a service called GPN which is responsible for connecting to a server faster and with less route thus lowering the ping also check the features of it on the router home page i remember there’s a feature to even lower the ping more

I researched it there and it looks like GPN is a service on hisbrouter but does have Fortnite as one of its compatible games

little tip everyone a router can be fast but Router just provides you the wireless signals from your ISP or Ethernet cable which allows you to connect to internet wirelessly. ... You would need an Internet service that you can connect the router to and they would supply the modem to connect the router to.
