great! I sprayed WD40 Smart Straw through the door handle and what else to get behind the door panel, those latches. Toyota Carina 1997. Worked!! Then to find out later that putting pressure on the right lower part of that handle , then operate it to open that left rear door, really does do the trick :)
Last year my 67 drivers door wouldn’t unlock when leaving work. Had to get in from passenger side. At home, rolled window down. Lubricated the latch. Door opened. My 67 sat for 16 years in my grandparents garage. In 2021 I got it home and got it running again. I figured the latch was rusted. I might have to replace latches. Thank you for your information.
I got a 69 XR7 the gauge cluster does not work nothing works except the turn signals, any ideas? Also the entire dash needs replaced where can i buy that? Thanks for any help.

@@BELIKEJUATER Interesting, this particular issue usually only happens to the Driver's door, since it is the one used the most often and the latch wears out the quickest. It seems unlikely that both the driver and passenger doors have completely worn-out door latches. If it has been sitting in the sun for long periods of time, sometimes the sun can melt the door seals to the door jams, which can make the doors very, very hard to get open. Just hunting for some other suggestions for what might be causing your issue.
Be careful in dealing with this guy. He comes off as a really nice guy but when I asked for help, he blew me off and told me to move on- his exact words. A very small man. If you need a product you need buy it, just be careful from the standpoint of looking for Mr. Rush to help you
What a view... Would love a walking around video of that cougar paradise city 😂

Happy to see you back. I've been surprised for years 😁
Those door panels really look good in the bloopers 😊
One time my cougar , did the opposite. It was cold and the door wouldn’t close. I had to use a blow dryer on it.
Great to have you back. Much love from Australia ❤.
Is same in 67 to 77 Camaro. Thanks.

What is he spraying with ?
He is using Kimball Midwest Penetrating Oil 80-744, but others have successfully used WD-40, liquid wrench, and many other decent penetrating oils.
What’s the spray
What Don used in the video is Kimball Midwest Penetrating Oil, but you can use your favorite penetrating oil i.e. WD-40, PB Blaster, etc.
But you see the problem I’m
Having is there’s no way for me to unlock it nothing to pull on and the windows closes
Don gives some suggestions at 1:27
But what if I can’t get inside to jiggle the lock?
If you can't get inside, there are not really any good options. Don gives a few tips on how to get inside if all the doors are locked at 1:29.
@@WestCoastClassicCougar The doors are unlocked I just can’t open them
