Nope no way any dog has a chance on a lion, let alone a leopard. A few months back in my home country, Sri Lanka, a 90lbs Rottweiler was killed and dragged of into the jungle by a female leopard. This is in Panama in South east of the island with female leopards averaging 70lbs. Check out the Wikipedia page called "lion verses tiger", and in the history of battles between the two big cats, the tiger wins 65% of the time. Heck, in 2010 in a zoo, a tiger actually killed a male lion with one paw strike.

I agree with you except on 2 of these animals and 1 will surprise you. The dog wouldn't ever stand a chance against a male lion, the Caucasian shepherd would become a meal and the second is a tiger. A wild tiger could never kill a male lion unless the lion was sickly. A tiger instinctively goes for the neck which on a male lion is the mane is to thick he'll just get a mouth full of hair as well tigers aren't fighters as a male lion has to fight and is experienced in this art, tigers are hunters not fighters.

A male lion has a mane that a tiger when it bites just gets a mouth full of hair, now we know tigers go directly for the neck because they don't hunt in prides where as a make lion will attack the back and genitals, even breaking the spine.
