Their other big hit was "Treat Her Like a Lady" which is equally smooth, charming and catchy.
Don't Ever Be Lonely did pretty well on the charts too.
Yes, that was their third single and it was a modest hit (#23). They faded out after that. Hard to top their first two singles which went to #3 ("Treat Her Like a Lady") and #2 ("Too Late to Turn Back Now")..
Yes great song! I know I sound like a broken record…BUT older music “hits different” Love it….and I am glad the great music still alive and you are reacting to them 🙏🏻❤️
At the dentists office today. The music was a mix of eras but I noted nearly all the new(er) songs had no real Bass lines & the drums or beats were just there for service. There was no real groove/feel to anything. It leaves the sings just flat sounding.
I was about 13 or 14 yrs old when I first heard this song and experiencing my first crush.
Classic. Those violins sound like heaven.
I’m an old white guy that graduated high school in 1976, so this and other Motown artists were in the radio (all we had back then 😂). I love your energy.
Grew up on this when I was 8 years old 👊
I'm an old guy that graduated in 1976. Also and this is the music that I loved more than rock and roll😊
Well...we did have our 45s and albums, and cassettes were around in '64...soo
i think these guys were from south florida
This song brings back so many memories. I graduated in 77. They still play on my oldies station. What period in my life.
As I've said before, the 70s seem to me the breakthrough decade in music..such a variety of styles conveying more meaningful lyrics and sound of lasting appeal!
I was just eight years old when this song came out in 1972. I loved it then and I love it now. There's just something about this song that I can't put my finger on, but it's one of my favorite songs of all time. In fact, it may very well be my favorite song. I could listen to it over and over again and never get sick of it.
I was 9… I loved it back then and still love it. It takes me back to the day 😊
This has been one of my all time favorite songs since I was a little girl. ❤
Loved this song.Have not heard it for a long time.I was 14 at the time when it came out here in Australia on my radio.😊
Buried somewhere in a cupboard on 45. 🤔
I bought this on 8 track tape when their lp came out.Really good album.I miss the Afro’s from the 70’s.Look how good this group looks compared to some of the crap we have today.
Jammmmm
one of the great songs about falling in love....overtakes you before you realize you're all in
Now this is my Jam!!! Great pic...HALELUJAH!!! 🎉🎶🔥♥️
Thank you for reacting to this classic. Please check out their song Treat Her Like A Lady(1971). A 70's House party classic. Thanks again 😊
This Song was So Popular for years, I was 12 years old and fascinated with this Girl, it makes me think of Her.
Wore this 45 out in 1972 , Sweet soul of the 70s
Nice! Great song to get stuck in your head for the day. It got stuck in mine way back when and I was in kindergarten or first grade. The chorus is very catchy and radio stations ate the song up for several years in the early to mid-seventies. The violins and the vocal harmonies suggest the easy-listening music of that era, but that bass line and the drum work keeps it in the groove, that classic early seventies soul groove. Cornelius Brothers & Sister Rose are siblings without a known relation to Don Cornelius of Soul Train fame.
This was one of my favorites back in the day.
Great song
Great song Angela. Thank you for the throw backs .absolutely love you channel. You are far above the rest.
This is called Soul music! Soul music is sweet with ZERO vulgarity! It always brings forth a positive message. A message of love and respect for one another! The musicianship, the musical arranging writing and composing is the best! Check out Bobby Womack with one of his many hits "Thats the way I feel about cha"
I was so lucky to grow up with these grooves. great reaction Angela
Great choice!
Loved this song!!
i was in 8th grade when this song came out, always loved it.
AHHHHHHH, THE 70'S ! LOVE THOSE AFROS. -------THE 70'S LIVE ON & ON. FOREVER.
Treat Her Like A Lady by this group is my favorite.😊
Always loved this tune. And Treat her like a lady . They had a great sound
One of the first songs I I remember hearing as a child. Sing a long stuff in the family van
Great scene of Spike Lee using this for his movie Blackkkklansman
Loved it then, love it now. Definitely in my phone.
One of their best and they had a lot of good ones.
Good song.
Excellent Choice. I remember this song when I was really little. Very popular it was.
Yes Wayne, when we were lil. Now we're older and wiser and unfortunately...less safe.
The Spinners "Could It Be I'm Falling In Love" gives me the same feel good feeling as this song, actually I love that song more!! Definitely worth a listen! :)
Great song from the seventies ❤
Another great song from the 70s
Hi Angela, This track right here was such a super popular song back in the day and it got a lot of radio play, and today you will often hear it on all the "Oldies" stations across the country!!! Great reaction too!!!
I love this song, which brings back memories. All good memories!

1988 Hip Hop Classic Stetsasonic The Hip Hop Band And Yes They Did Sampled & Replayed The Bassline From Lonnie Liston Smith Song Expansions 🔥🔥🔥🔥
It was a very catchy song for sure. A happy song from my early youth that brought back happy memories from so long ago.
This hit me immediately when it dropped early 70’s.
Mind you,i WAS in Corfu (Greek Isle) at the time and it fit the beach perfectly.
A masterpiece!
I always loved this song - I was 14 yrs old when it stormed up the charts on the radio.
Great song!! Kudos for choosing this classic!!
Such a great song! Beautiful string arrangment and backing vocals.
Boy , I could tell you was really getting into this song and feeling the groove and the message of the song. This is one of my favorite R&B songs. I love the message I love the guy singing there. I love his voice and he's a really good guy. After they quit being in the group, he became a preacher and he's got a great message. They still do their music once in a while. But like I said he's a preacher now. And he's a really great song. They've got another song called treater like a lady which is also pretty good.
Angela, I totally understand this song ... I feel the same way when I see 1 of your reactions 😊💕🌹🤣🤣🤣. Seriously, very enjoyable ... love your work !!!
Classic Motown 😎
His afro takes me back to high school in the 70's...
That's a real fro. LIke the Amish women, never cut their hair.
Love that guys hair!
Great great song
The song was released in the year I was born. The beautiful string arrangement always gives me chills whenever I listen to it.
Great song and awesome group
Super beautiful song a true classic of the 70s era👍👌
❤my brothers and sisters thanks for the support 😊
love it from day one!
Black Klansman brought me here. ❤ this song
Oh yes!! Treat Her Like A Lady is my fave!
I just remember my mom blasting this cassette tape in the car when I was a little kid. Such a great great song.
this takes me back to the Summer of 1972-this song along with Looking Glass-Brandy You're A Fine girl, Seals & Crofts-Summer Breeze, Gallery-I believe In music, Raspberries-go All the way and Daniel Boones-Beautiful Sunday were all over the radio that summer-good times!
1972 was my favorite year in music and those are all great songs. Brandy was the first record I ever bought. Looking Glass also had a moderate hit the next year with Jimmy Loves Mary-Anne which I like even more. Yeah, I love the music from that era. I'm definitely a 70s kid.
UGS FROM ITALY ..INSIDE MYSELF THIS SONG...THANKS FOR POSTID
GINO FROM MILANO
this is a real memory I think for so many when it came out- beautiful loving message, which soo many songs had back then. I'll go to my grave, with his singing the lyric "LLLLLLLLLLLLLV" the way he does- just beautiful.
Love this band and song, I've been singing that hook since 1970's and Im 65 now.
HURRAY FOR MUSIC... HURRAY FOR ANGELA...

Ça nous rappelle des belle année inoubliable époque elvis preseley qui chavirer le monde la beauté et le charme était ces année ya pas photo bye bye la vie aujordhui les belle Anne ne revient jamais il nous reste que les bon souvenir
Underrated song.
pure motown........
This so brings me back. Must have been early 72 as we were still in Boston. My uncle would drive us to school and this would be on the radio a lot. What a wonderful soul song and it's so interesting how the music of the mid-late 60s carried over to the early 70s.
7th grade. Great song!
The 70's had great songs. I was ending high school and was in my dancing days, great memories. I grew up with R & B music but I also enjoy all genre's. Music keeps me going and I have been known to still shake a leg at celebrations. Thank you, for listening to the older music and bringing back happy thoughts. Love your reactions. 🎤🦀🔥🫶
Such a good song. I loved these guys back in the early 70s.Darn good music in those days.
Ahhh, what a classic. I remember dancing to this song with my girlfriend, when we were still in high school.
One very forgettable day, I was being really cocky & adventurous and thought that I could successfully jump off a very high cliff. Half-way down I changed my mind. It was then that I heard my inner voice say: ("It's too late to turn back nowwwww!!!!"). I can't believe I actually survived.... Now I know that cartoons are true.
YES! Finally!!!
That lead singer's afro is majestic. Good song too.
Hi Angela, interesting point you made about Don Cornelius. He and the Cornelius Brothers were not related, and from what I can gather, the Cornelius Brothers did not appear on Soul Train.
This is an amazing song! ❤️
Brings back great memories!
Treat Her Like A Lady is my fav of theirs.
MERRY CHRISTMAS ANGELA FROM ITALY HUGS EVERYBODY
Trust me , your going to stick it on your phone forever and I'll tell you why. This is one of the most powerful songs in history in attracting your true love , and it looks like your about to be ready , it will still take time though but you crossed the threshold and you will get there because there is no turning back now , I'll pray that it will get rushed because eveyone women and man needs to meet their true halfs. Check out Don't Ever Be Lonely A Poor Little Fool Like Me by The Cornelius Brothers And Sister Rose
You should check out the Chi-Lites version of this song.
Amid the tumult of my 1972 high-school graduation (not a high point for me) this song burst through with a kind of saving clarity though I'd never admit to my rock-out buddies. Too sweet and sentimental for any one of them seeking to maintain their "real man" image. But it rang so true; meeting a very pretty face, taking the next steps -- and behold, she is responding in kind! NOW WHAT?? Do I trust it to continue growing? Or do I cool it down to dating as "just friends" while I still can?? Or can I? Then there's this talk of wearing rings and talking about -- the inevitable, perhaps? Scary. Man, I'v messed it up. It might be too late to turn back now ...
