Kirk, This is my reaction to seeing 4:32 the Hall of Fame of 2 door Prados. 😨😰😥😭😭😭. This 500 hp, 2 door Defender is a thrill ride🤯 but I would prefer the long term satisfaction😊 of a simple 2 door Prado with a workaday 2TR-FE engine. Who knows if we will ever see a 250 Series 2 door but there are folks out there buying brand new, 2 door 70 Series SWB today. For the record, the 🐔🐓 Tax does NOT apply to vehicles with back seats only to pickups and cargo vans. In other words, the 4Runner, Land Cruiser 250, GX and LX are not subject to a supplementary tariff. I suspect safety and environmental regulations keep the 70 Series away not the finger lickin' good tax. 🍗🍗
Least reliable car brand. These things are worth less than a nissan versa IMO. I wouldn't take one for free.....I take that back, I would, but I would sell it and buy a toyota.
Least reliable car brand. In Germany some insurance companies don't insure LandRover and RangeRover anymore....these cars are from a reliability point of view, hideous.

But no longer when it comes to insuring Land Rovers and/or Jaguars. The number of repairs and the costs are too high to insure according to CarGarantie. In Germany, by law, professional sellers have to offer a 2nd hand car including a 12 or 24m warranty. Those sellers buy an insurance from CarGarantie to be able to cover the costs of the warranty when things go wrong. Not for Land Rover and Jaguar anymore. Makes you think...
