Mental Omega [YR] - Unit Icons & Symbols

- Опубликовано: 5 фев 2025
- In Mental Omega there have been some additions regarding the symbols and icons a unit can have both on the battlefield and in their training tab.
In the infantry tab you may notice up to four symbols each one of them indicating a general passive ability the unit has. That way it's easier to understand the extra skills this unit has. These symbols are:
Wave - Indicates that a unit can travel both on land and sea
Eye - Indicates that the unit can detect disguised units
Magnifying Glass - Indicates that the unit can detect invisible units
Skull - Indicates that the unit is a hero
An arrow can also appear pointing on top or on bottom which indicates that a unit has either increased or decreased stats. In order to easily understand which stats have been affected, the arrows will vary in color. If a unit has multiple effects on him altering more than one stat, then all the arrows will appear.
Red Arrow - Damage has been changed
Green Arrow - Armor has been changed
Blue Arrow - Speed has been changed

Many people still didn't realize the purpose of those Symbols. Thanks for let every one know about it more. I hope I can play with u someday. Cheer :D
viet :(
Ending: DON'T MEEEEEEEEEEDIC ME
This reminds me of what the civilians say in the second Nod mission in Tiberian Sun firestorm, where they say NOT MEEEEEEE in a funny voice.
AKA every TF2 medic in a nutshell
"7 years training for this ?"
I hear "Dont Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeet medic" lol
Thanks for doing MO stuff. And the HoMM3 stuff too. Also thanks for existing in general. : )
:D
Flak Trooper: *being spot-lighted*
Also Flak Trooper: *armor lowers*
seriously though, didn't notice different colors for those arrows. I only find myself the red ones every time I play O_o
Great insights, tg
The explanation behind the spotlight is that it makes targets easier to shoot at because they are easy to see.
I guess your enemies are Latin Conferation that uses Smoke Bombs
I like how they mentioned everything about what type of unit they are and what they do
1:15 Wrong - magnifying glass means the unit can see cloaked units (i.e. Shadow Tanks), not disguised ones
Yeah, I accidentally typed the same thing.
It's great that they added buffs and debuff in Omega that can turn the tide in our favor
im new to MO and didnt realize how dependent Haihead and Pacific allies were on buffs and debuffs
Great vid as always dude!
Hype for Ver 4.5
Also Allied Medics understand the pain of TF2 medic mains.
Don't "MEDIC!!" me!
- Field Medic
Today, we take a look at the…
MEEEEDDIICCC!!!
MEEEEDDIICCC!!!
MEEEEDDIICCC!!!
*Medic screams in agony*
yea, Allied Field Medic and Soviet Pyro are both TF2 reference
I'm sure this isn't an ambush
*gets ambushed*
"Don't 'MEEEEE-DICCCC' me"
Keep em coming my man.
Oh yeah, Its Mental Omega time.
How to make the barbarians hate medic: *The suppressor*
Does a suppressed medic damage units???
Good. Now don't need waste hours in skirmish trying to understand what that icons mean.
"The X symbol means that the unit can't attack"
Catastrophe and Desolator combine:
*I have no such weakness*
Actually SEAL's can't detect disguised Mirage Tanks, they detect cloaked and submerged units.
So that's why enemies always destroy my phantasm... Dogs and clairvoyants running around near them...
Disguised Mirage Tanks can neutralize by cloaked detecter.
Questions for next RA2 mythbusters:
Does mind control reset the amount needed to get a promotion bar? Is it the same for 'being released from mind control'?
Do crates that promote you reset the promotion bar? ex: seal kills 3 seals (and needs another 1 to get to vet) takes a promotion crate, how many more kills will promote him to elite 1 or 4 again?
Dog can swim now but Boris still can’t 😭
LJ Palor Cruz :D
Any chance to see you doing a playthrough of the campaigns?
I know there are guides online by the modding team. Just curious in general
Don't really know but definitely not anytime soon.
after the mental omega, you still have lots of contents!!! like C&C remastered :)))))))))))))))))))
I hope he does Tiberian Sun. That game is a fucking masterpiece.
what does that last one the "?" symbol mean
Reverses damage into healing which is very op in a battle tortoise I turned some super defended bases in skirmish into jokes with the self healing battle tortoises lol
Its suppressed the unit affected. Not sure why its called suppressor seeing it heals you rather than harm you.
@@zeyadgabr8682 yo thats why PF has norio a flying commando. Just imagine PF having a ground commando put in a battle tortois with 3 suppressors.
@@patricksusulin9335 the number of suppressors don't give any increased affect so 1 is the same as 3
@@zeyadgabr8682 i know but having 3 in there means that you can suppress 3 enemies at once.
and what's the question mark?
It make damage attack to heal attack
Reverse damage to heal and heal to damage
For example if mirage tank affact by this status if it shoot a damaged battle tortoise it will repair it instead. And if repair IFV try to repair damaged abrams the repair target ( in this case abrams )will take damage
@@volknetai.3690 repairs cannot be turned into damage through Supressor's attack. Engine limitations.
Thanks
I noticed that one of the Allies defensive structures adds a frowny face status, what does that do? Just make them sad?
enemy that has suppressor icon make that enemy cant damaged you and friends
What about the roman I or II symbol when you try to deploy mirage tanks??
Ambush mode
. Mirage Tank does not automatically attack enemies in this mode. Shadow Tank has the same mode.
@@GalaktionAmfiloheev interesting. Thx 4 the answer
At near last, why units have question bubbles?
Nice 2:09 Regen HP5% Buff up ATK
Thor symbol?
AGI move speed down 🚅 2:43
Necesito la proxima actualización 😩
so what's the question mark symbol?
What do you will do next when this game is end?
I am working with Heroes 3.
@@tg.Sacred what about all 55 IVF configerations ?
DEF debuff Down 2:24
?! 1:47 Buff up debuff Down
how to make a game with a lot of money(i want to test the units like at the video)
I always thought is was weird that attack dogs couldn't swim, but Crazy Ivan being able to swim is ridiculous, as when nitroglycerin gets wet it makes it unstable. However, making Tanya and the Navy Seals glorified Crazy Ivans with guns and without the Martyrdom effect is terrible. The dev shouldn't have nerfed them. It was fun blowing up every structure in the game, as that was the only reason to have Tanya and the SEALs, nobody cared about their infantry guns, as tanks are the main source of destructive power in a Command and Conquer game. I can't believe this dude, and then he fucking ghosted this project, it is going to end up like Super Mario All Stars Wii, but actually good.
I would add the martyrdom effect to all infantry who had explosives, as that's only fair.
dude wtf are you saying?
Crazy Ivans have protective plastic bags.
@@GalaktionAmfiloheev lol
@@wargame10 tl;dr tanya and seals were nerfed beyond recognition, didn't like.
I hope they add icons for units that fly/float/aerial
:P
MO is just so complicated unfun
the S in RTS stands for something, you should learn that.
At least no more Rhino tanks anywhere :SmugPepe:
It really isn't.
It isn't anymore complicated than Red Alert 2.
There is an entire website about Mental Omega if you are really confused about it.
@@cncvietnam-huydeptrai Why?? are you try 8-9 of them they cost 700 and mix them with few stronger..I think is better than have 6 stronger cuz mind control and other things
@@dragondragon5437 I don't understand what do u mean. But let's try some Rhino spam tactic in MO random pvp games and let's see is it work
love heals?
mental omega: nope ... war heals 3:)
