- In Red Alert 2 we barely had any commando. There was only Tanya who was mostly an infantry unit since she was just as strong as a seal and you could train as many as you wanted. Soviets were also lacking a lot in the infantry part.
In Yuri's revenge, they fixed this part by giving a commando to each one of the three factions. They were quite special and unique being able to have only one of them in the battlefield.
In Mental Omega this went a step even further. Every faction, including sub-factions, were given at least one Commando. Thus, out of the 12 factions, there were available 14 Commandos overall.
Mental Omega tried to make every Commando quite unique. Given the fact that there are already too many units, this would be hard to do so. However, the Commandos are indeed quite unique and each one of them has also his own voice lines.
In the video you can check all the recruit-able Commandos and a small demonstration of their power and abilities.

when I first played mental omega I was amazed at the amount of dedication to each subfaction and their commandos
my favorite was morales because it reminded me so much of jarmen kell from the generals universe

- Volkov & Chitzkoi are the Soviet Hero Commandos from Red Alert 1: Aftermath (Campaign)
- Siegfried is based on the Chrono-Legion Turret, the cutting defense structure content from Red Alert 2.
- José Arcadio Morales is based on the character with the same name from the movie "Kilerów 2-óch"
Press f for Boris Krukow and Yuri Prime. I know that you still have them in the campaign, but no more in skirmish :(

Volkov's tesla weapon chains between multiple targets, but that wasn't visible in the test due to force-firing on allies. It also has an EMP effect that can destroy amphibious vehicles that are on water instantly.
Alwaysl loved Tanya over the others. Not for RA2 Bias but for all of her ability and attacks come down to constant training. No cybernetics, gene mods, tech upgrades (bar the rifle of course), 100% practice makes perfect. Same can be relatively said for Morales and Yunru

It's incredible how diverse they all are. On another note couldn't help noticing that ingame Fin looks a lot like a Warhammer 40k Space Marine. Then again maybe that's the point. The MO Soviet Borillo Transport does resemble the Space Marine vindicator :D

The voice actor's imPRRRRRRession of the legend Norio Wakamoto was spot on, and the commando's backstory was Mr. Wakamoto's pre-seiyuu career word-for-word.
"Uragon is a commando with decent health" Uragons health: 1000 more than double that of any other commando. Idk if decent is the correct term for that health pool.

@@tsiripas better call it high or very high hp. Not many units that have more hp than uragan. Even some heavy tank
Uragon has 1000 health. Volkov has 600 health. Double Volvok's health is 1200, and 1000 more than double is 2200. Both 1200 and 2200 are greater than 1000. Therefore, Uragon does *_not_* have 1000 more than double, let alone just double, that of any other commando. Decent is the correct term for Uragon's health pool. Please learn how to use Math correctly before criticizing someone's English.
Also, please learn how to use English correctly, because I can't tell if you meant to say "1000 more than double" or "1000; more than double". Not that it matters because both are wrong, but still. You'd better be perfect yourself before you start correcting others.
Norio better than Uragan... Uragan is very slow and doesnt effective...

It should be noted that Siegfried deals reduced friendly damage, so Sieg'a damage potential is actually higher than shown
And he’s harder to promote as his attack only factors in the initial hit not the aoe damage
But boy howdy do his attacks still fuck up my men. I've lost so many units to friendly fire from him

This mod is effectively a rebalance of Yuri's Revenge that makes use of otherwise leftover Tib Sun mechanics and cut content along with other enjoyed ideas from later C&C games (purchased support abilities, building selection sounds, Kane's Wrath style subfactions, etc.)
But invisibility and especially underround mechanics are trash, unfortunately. Telling you as very experienced player.

Why you need tanya to get inside the building anyway while we have riot trooper to drive them out of building from a safe distance
Finn and Alize are my favourite because I always use them as the front liner. Tanking majority of everything. Sadly they are vulnerable against air attacks. That’s why I have to build the shadray disruptor tanks to cover both of them
And 2 terror drones are enough to kill them
When you realize that Terror drones and Air units can Finalize their life

well Morales was based on a movie character tbh, even devs stated that and recreated his introduction scene in game xd
Damn!; They brought back both Volkov And Chitzkoi from red alert 1, i really missed these guys and finally they're playable now rather than campaign only units,
It brings tears to my eyes that someone really cared for them and actually spend time and effort to add these guys in a modern RA game, even though it's just a mod

Malver is REALLY good at defending your base, he couldn't auto attack, BUT if you put him on Guard mode (Press G) he does his job sweetly. On guard mode, he will ... Well .. protect the place

There's my tip : you can combine chrnosphere (ally) and M. A. D. M. A. N (foehn revolt, haihead) and damage will be super heavy
A little late but M.A.D.M.A.N.s cannot be Chronoshifted, nor affected by Invulnerability, due to the exact reason you stated. Prior to 3.5.5 the only exploit you can do is using Shadow Ring on it, but now it's patched
Joke's on you, but M.A.D.M.A.N. cannot be chronoshifted anymore.
How one cannot love Libra I will never know
Libras faction also comes with special ability to make clones of her. They are much weaker tho. (well at least it was last time i played it)
Being only distraction from the real one. Their damage output is painfully low. Having the same HP doesn't giving a much more chance to take hit in the frontline either.
@@volknetai.3690 They are all purpose units that can attack air, and traverse water while being immune to mind control and confusion. That alone is good enough

Best good Boi = Chitzkoi
Commands good = Tanya, Volvok, Rahn, Vragan, Norimo, Seigfried.
Commands that needs constant manual = Malvar, Alize & Fin, Eurika, Morales.
weakest commandos = Yunru, Libra.
Libra is very powerful when spam her clones. [She and her clones have a decent range.]
Yunru is annoying when she comes with Chinese heavy vehicles and mass infantry spam. [Chinese late-game model is no joke when your vehicle got emp'ed]

The only exception of tanya's bomb that can't insta-destroy is flag in assault mode ( a gamemode that require you to destroy enemy flag to defeat him/her )
Also lastbastion epic defend structure, it require 3 times bomb set to destroy it
@@dungnguyendang4769 you may also add damage decreasing on Tanya (e.g. smoke bombs, smoke turret and humminbirds + Lamver deploy) + armor buff from fohan nanotech
And look how destroying 1 building with C4 will take ages ;D
Tanya cannot one-shot a Plasmerizer either.
6:21 you forgot to say that Morales can depilot most vehicles and you can use an engineer to capture them
Not just engineers but also the drivers of Jaguar tanks. There's a chance that a Jaguar tank is destroyed, the driver survives.
Something you've got to mention is that as cyborgs, Volkov and Chitzkoi are also vulnerable to EMP.
When you try tank rush and the good old doggo kill off your battalion. Perfectly Balance

...all you need to stop Chitzkoi are repair vehicles. Or if you're PsiCorps/China, use magnetic and EMP weaponry.
Yeah instead of whining why not try to counter it. EMP can disable while anti-infantry units/defenses can still kill it.
I personally like Yunru because she could remove trees/objects easily :)
Mental Omega 3.3.5 update is coming later this year. Maybe you should do more test videos on it after it comes out.
My fav hero from MO is Rahn. He is a good guy because he likes to make a friend with all infantries no matter which faction they come from (turning them into brute buddies).

Note: Scorpions are Easy if you know how to use them since they have mostly Stealth/Toxic tech but if you don't then you are fucked

Malver and Yunru are immune to radiation. This is due to the peculiarities of the game engine

Malver probably yes, as taking damage reveals unit, but Yunru is just because of China has shitton of radiactive things, including high range eradicators. She just used be available on legs in midfight.

By default, they are campaign only, along with Boris, Rashidi, Reznov, Krukov and Siegfried (Chrono legionare version).
Yuri appear in some campaign mission and 1 challenge. He can *PERMANANTLY* mind control ground units with no limit

Yes he can.
Pretty much the only counter once he pounce on a battalion of tanks. He can pounce between tanks so fast and from quite a distance that it's not possible to kill kim in between his attack

Morales is a more useful boris.
for a hero meant to be the protector of the last bastion. Uragan sucks at doing his job. the due was supposed to be a flying god capable of decimating everything that invades the last bastion but always ends up blowing up his own base.
Yeah his secondary projectile is kinda fucked up at finding target, and would usually fire at his own base when defending. But he is meant to be used as a flying siege unit tho
So Tanya is Boris but can swim

Immobilizer weapon like stun, emp, magnetic chrono-base weaponry like charon tank can counter that dog and if you got some repair unit with your tank army let it infect some of your tank and repair it then boom!!! 1000 cash disappear
