So I've read that on certain Warn winches, the metal thimble that's at the end of the line that attaches to the hook can often be too wide to fit inside of the Factor 55 Ultra Hook. What's the measurement of the opening? And which Warn do you have? I'd hate to pay that much for one for it not to fit. And I prefer not to do any modifications like banging the thimble down like I've seen suggested on the Factor 55 FAQ section on their website.

Sadly the standard for fitting a thimble into some hooks is hammering it down. Mine wasn’t an issue during mounting. But I’ve since sold that Jeep so I don’t have the hook to measure.
Most all 3/8” cables should work. As long as it doesn’t pinch the eyelet, you will be fine hammering the thimble a bit thinner to fit.

Man I need one of those. First I need to get one of those sweet warn winches for my Rubi. What model of which is that and what base plate did you go with?
    Great video thanks!
