Thanks for making these videos. I watched part I and II and I don’t think I saw a demo of how to use the inrush function. Could you make a video on inrush in the future??

Hi @Whipsydoo! Thanks for your suggestion. I’ll reach out to our social media team to see if we can create a Inrush function video for our channel. We appreciate your request, and I’ll do my best to make it happen! Stay tuned!

Hi @bae896! We did not connect this unit to our phone. We can certainly make a video about the Fluke Connect App if that is something you would be interested. Let us know and I can pass along the information to our social media team!

Fluke has just told me that the inrush function on DC amps is only for industrial dc motors. I have clamped a Fluke 376-FC on my Honda Odyssey's negative cable and started the vehicle while measuring inrush and only got 3.78 Amps-which I know is wrong. What is the difference between a car's starter motor (dc) and an industrial dc motor other than their power rating?
Why won't fluke tell me why said function doesn't work. Is this a meter defect or have they not been honest in their marketing? Be wary of the dc inrush function as I cannot seem to get it to work or as the tech told me-use the min/max function.
