Lord Shiva did not give Ashwadhama a boon of immortality. Lord Krishna cursed him to live forever with immense suffering. He was cursed after he realised he killed the 5 sons of Draupadi and Arjun went after him for revenge. They both shot a Bhramastra at each other and when Krishna asked them to recall their weapons, Arjun did so. Ashwadhama did. It have that knowledge so instead redirected it to Utara’s womb. She was the pregnant widow of Abhimanyu and was carrying the last Pandav heir. This act would destroy the Pandava lineage. It was this act that enraged Lord Krishna and enforced him to curse Ashwadhama. Draupadi was not cursed by Narada for marrying the five Pandavas. In fact he came over to bless them and provided them with advice to ensure that there was never any quarrel link between the five brothers over Draupadi. I stopped watching after that!
