How can test cricket be boring?? I mean u feel in a test that everything is going smooth and suddenly one spell one session one partnership completely change the game... In one day n t20 u have a sure shot possibility of either winning or losing but in test even if u cant win u can go for draw making the scenario interesting by holding your ground for a session and hour and then every ball and defence shot is cheerd we never see such a scene in odi or t20..

Last time when England visited south Africa your Steyn is injured in most of the series you are talking about 150 after 1 or 2 over he was not able to bowl a single delivery. Anderson maintains his fitness and he improves his skill to succeed without speed as he want to play longer and help team win more marches. England are only winning matches because of him and broad their batting is pathetic now a days. At the age of 37 he is winning matches for England and Steyn is injured most of the time.
I still remember Michael Holding was crying in one of his interviews when Amir was brought into spot fixing allegations....he was crying and saying how a young chap like him can do so,some1 definitely drag him into this.All his tears gone in vain now.

Ramiz bhai, don't discount the fact that Aamir was hardly used in UAE, our home ground. We don't get many tests abroad and we do not play many tests (or given series) as we used to get in the past. Inside UAE, we've had players like Abdul Rehman being our main striker because spinner can purchase a lot from slow, dead UAE wickets. Take Yasir for example but will discuss him some other day. I think PCB is a lot to be blamed here. Take a look at Imran khan, except that 82 Indian rubber at home. He hardly used to bowl in Pakistan and actually did not bowl much except bowling against WestIndies in 90 in the 3rd test where he took 4 wickets. Sir, wickets are a big question. 2 WS's succeeded in the '90s and 2k and then, of course, Shoaib rocked in one-off series in 2005 against POMS is because they were in swinging bowlers bowling lot of yorkers!

I agree with you on all accounts, but Imran khan should know that during his days they used to play 2 or 3 test series annually plus few one dayers. Today scenario is different. Fatigue can become genuine issue when you play 3 type of formats regularly along with leagues

And the end result will automatically be a good test team. the Government should give serious incentives to philanthropists to invest money into club, school and first class and eventually test cricket.

James Anderson is the greatest test bowler in modern era ..There is no comparison with him in test cricket he left the shorter formats only to concentrate on test cricket ..I'm always fan of Jimmy. .

I remember one interview where Ramiz recalled talking to Amir about his decision to leave a English County for another to which Amir replied the other team was paying more. And Ramiz said it was a measly amount , and showed what sort of character Amir was. And then the disgusting spot fixing incident happened. Ramiz had this chap figured out long ago.
His bowling is no longer good enough for the test team. There are 18-year-old bowlers who are now good enough to be in the test team. Hopefully he'll still be able to bowl for a long time.

And the end result will automatically be a good test team. the Government should give serious incentives to philanthropists to invest money into club, school and first class and eventually test cricket.
