It could be that Amir was not selected for the New Zealand tour by PCB management for whatever reasons and Amir decided to take issue with this. PCB didn't force retirement on Amir. And Amir in return for not being selected for the NZ tour among other conflictious circumstances, decided to fire back by announcing a public retirement from international cricket so it takes the cricketing world by storm and he has everyone's attention. It's just all a mess and a shit show that is being played out publicly and in the media between Amir and PCB management. Hopefully Amir isn't serious about retiring from cricket and he will come back otherwise he will have wasted a really great gift from God and his career (which he honestly had already wasted for 5 years before). 🤷🏻♂️ Performance and actions always speak louder than words or complaining. Amir should perform and should have performed with the ball, so that others can speak for him and he himself doesn't even have to say a word to prove himself..and so that that he doesn't have to go publicly complaining and using words which he has no understanding of.

Yeah you exactly right not even cricket but every sports mental health played a important role so management should concern about it and I think like batting coach/bowling coach there should be a coach for mental health especially after big match

Amir was hardly a gem after his return to international cricket. And PCB gave him a SECOND CHANCE despite the bombshell Amir committed in the 2010 spot fixing scandal and scarring Pakistan cricket's image. Amir was given ample support and a lot was invested in him so that he may not only revive his career but also have ample opportunities to perform. But the problem is Amir didn't perform and sooner or later, in without performance, any player will eventually be dropped. This is Amir's own fault and his failed career is again his own responsibility. It was always in his own hands.
