Im disappointed that arteta threw away our chance at home to Villa. However, i appreciate the progress he made thus far. As much as i hoped for something in the city spurs game, we can never entrust rivals for our destiny. It was shameful for me to expect our rivals to give us an advantage. In fact for 90min i experienced the pain they experince the whole season, it was really not nice. I can't fault them for celebrating their loss and failure to champions league spot, to spite us. It just shows me their mentality. Respect to that lady, she is a unique Spurs fan. I think their coach also genuinely wanted to play. Congrats to Man city!
I remember Villa players were focused AF. They were in good form at that time, the Villa game stands out Because it's the only loss this year but the slump in December proved more crucial.
@@peshfra6026 Agreed! My dissatisfaction with arteta for the villa game was changing the team that was working, playing Havertz in midfield even though he never worked for Arsenal in that position. But on overall I appreciate the progress we made, especially being able to come back and fight again after the December slump. On the balance I also appreciate that Unai Emery is more experienced than arteta and can easily out smart him. The good thing is that arteta seem to learn and rectify his mistakes though I also find him stubborn at times.
If Arsenal win they get 89 points. Usually it’s good enough to win the league but if City wins they get 91 points. That’s insanely high and that’s the competition.
