Dude I’m a spurs fan and even I was embarrassed by the fans on Tuesday
Consider the Man U vs Arsenal game this past Sunday. United fans hate City as much as Spurs fans hate Arsenal. Losing to Arsenal would help against City winning the title. Yet, not once did any Man U fan hope for Arsenal to win just to stick it to City, and certainly none in their stadium during the game. United fans supported their team, worrying only about their team's chance at Europe.
Spurs fans put Arsenal's chance at the title over their chance at Champions, settling for a lesser tournament.
United fans dont hate city as much as Tottenham hate Arsenal, stop just making it up, United fans hate Arsenal and Liverpool more than city, it has nothing to do with mentality
I am in my 7th decade of attending games and it was always Liverpool and then Arsenal.

If Spurs had beaten Man City (a club that hadn't won at Spurs or even scored in the league for six years) they would have had a very good chance of Champions League football.

As an Arsenal fan. I didn't mind when Arteta changed his tactics when playing against City at the Etihad. It probably contributed to us not winning the league, as if he played his normal tactics we could have lost or won. But he took that risk. Why cant Ange get the same support from spurs fans?

What the majority of those fans not realise is that they have accepted losing being a part of their identity, Arsenal not winning the league doesn't outweigh that because it is only one season. It wasn't that long ag that Bournemouth, Burnley( the last game of the season), and Brighton were out of the 92 league pyramid altogether. It was the Premier Leagues fault for rearranging that game from mid April to the final week of the season ..... they KNEW what City were like, with their history of springing late runs to the title, and the Premier League put Tottenham, and their supporters, in a really bad postion, and slap bang in Citys way .... most football fans are NOT gonna want their local rivals to win the title, no matter where they live.
