    Can we upgrade the vcentre on the same esxi host. If yes then do I need to give the target IP 152 instead of 150 in your example?

      No, it creates a new VM with the same IP address & Hostname.

    after the upgrade, we can delete the the old vcenter

      If your new vcenter working fine then you can surely delete the old VM.
