Crisis Core traumatized me for life. I still get the feels every time I see Zack or anything related to him. Gotta admit, usually I don't like when instrumental songs get vocalized, but this is one is just perfect.
People are always saying how upset they were that Zack died. But correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm thinking that unless you did the series in Chronological order, anybody that know FFVII new when they played Crisis core, that Zack was going to die.

agree with you there I knew going In Zack was gonna die but I still cried and I'm glad I got to play a fantastic story with an even better protagonist
While I did feel sad at Zack's death, it honestly would have had a bigger impact if the game's story had focused more on Zack and Cloud's friendship. I'm probably one of the very few who thinks that, though.

I Played through the first time because i couldnt even read at the time. and when i didnt get a new sword in midgar i thought you were forced to play through with the buster sword. same thing happened later when i played KH2. couldnt equip a different keyblade when i first got one, since it gets equiped to the Valor form automatically. i then thought i could only switch form keyblades..... i wasnt very smart. Learning about the history and the story of the Kingdom Key and the Buster Sword when i got older it felt so right though

Cloud Strife, the totally normal dude who took on Sephiroth, because he had to. He carried Zack's legacy. He carried him with him wherever he went. And Zack, the totally normal dude, who got in to Solder 1ST CLASS without any fucking Jenova Cells. What a legend.
Actually, all SOLDIERs are injected with Jenova Cells upon entering and were lied as being infused with Mako energy, Zack is not an exception.
@@chunghoangvy795 You're right about that but wrong about what I am saying. SOLDIERS go through a different process. They did not go through the same process Sephiroth, Angeal, or Genesis did. Where they had it injected while they were still embryos.
The Mako infusion wasn't an entire lie, they ARE infused with Mako, it's just also got a little bit of Jenova too.
Zack Fair........I....will never forget him. He is indeed a brave soul, a brave warrior who fought till the end. He will always be remembered as a hero.

This vocal version makes this final scene even more tragic. Yep Zack is a legend all right, no matter how many years past I cannot forget about his character. Excellently developed to the final moment.

I gotta admit, i cried so hard when i played the final part. FF7 Crisis core is the first game to make me cry emotionally. this song, It's just beautiful and sad.

Mate, I dont think Aerith's death on the new remake version will be as traumatizing as a hero who had friend that died because of shame, his hero (role model) became a villain, lost many people he loved in front of his eyes, died protecting the last friend he had and giving him his honor and dreams making him his living legacy

I had forgotten how to cry for a really long time, for years because of so much going on in my life, I pretty almost became soulless. But I cried. I'm not gonna lie, I had a good few several seconds of tears I thought I would never be able to bring out. I'm glad this existed. This is my first time listening to the vocalized version.

It's rare that things make me cry. But the death of zack is one of the few that will never fail to put me in tears. This song is now up there because it has me crying like a baby.
The FF7R give us Crisis Core veterans a " Conflict Resolved" we always wished.

In the Zack and Cloud section, their synergy move is called Together As One. (Church Zack, not the first encounter) I could just be looking way too far into that, but I want to believe its a homeage to this vocalized version.

How did Zack so much carrys Cloud forever, even from Advent Children and Remake from Final Fantasy like can he'll comeback from 2022.

Zack is, was, and always will be a hero. He attained a dream that he was told was unattainable. Zack's death was one of the few character deaths that had me bawling my eyes out. RIP To a true hero! (I know he's alive in ff7 remake/rebirth)

Getting ready to play FF VII remaster I got on ps+. Thinking back, I have to say Crisis Core was a fantastic game. It could have been a quick cash grab to capitalize on ff vii’s success, but instead it was extremely meaningful, maybe even more so that ff vii.
One of these days, I might get the dust out of my psp and play it again. I’m afraid it won’t hit me the same now that I’m older and I’ve lost all my emotions, but who knows, it may kick something lose...

Beautifully done!! I only recently found out Price of Freedom actually had lyrics... I wonder why they didn’t play this song at the end instead of ‘Why’... I mean ‘Why’ is a great song, but the lyrics is not particular to the game. These lyrics are just perfection.
