The combat wasn’t as good, the musical set pieces were close but not as good, lack of final fantasy characters etc. in fact remind felt more like 2 then 3 did. That’s why the creator has said he’s going to make 4 more like 2 moving forward. 3 felt too much like a Disney advertisement

When I used the line as part of my vows, the "warnings" weren't about our relationship, and there were (and still are) no red flags to speak of. I was talking about warnings of the future, of responsibility, and owning a home, trying to get a career, all the things that come with becoming a "full" adult, and such trials you face when you are in a marriage that you may or may not have to face solo. I understand the context of the line IN the song, but I used it in a different context. We're still together coming up on 6 years, as happy as can be in our marriage.

When I was around younger, I discovered this series, and little did I know that it would change my life forever by introducing me to JRPGs, and seeing video games through a new lens, and also encouraging me to watch some of the older Disney films, while also falling in love with the many characters that this series has. Happy 20th anniversary to Kingdom Hearts, regardless of what people say I will always cherish those beautiful memories I have with this series.
Now this song is really nostalgic for me, I remember as a little kid my brother and I would play this and not know how to play, then as we got a little older we progressed through the night, and I remember we had visitors over and my dad was watching me fight the final boss and so was my bro and my step brother and his friends, and I defeated the boss and we jumped in the air and It was such a good memory :) Sadly whenever I play this song or this game then I think of my dad, who well sadly a month after this happened passed away when I was 9 ;(, This game is so nostalgic to me and its more than just pixels in a screen, I will always remember this game :)

Listening to this song after graduating less than 14 hours ago. I first got into the series in March of last year. Helped keep me up in bad moments. And as corny as it will sound has taught me some things that I find important. This series is like comfort food for me. Thank you Kingdom Hearts for being a cherished memory of my late teenage years.

I grew up watching my brother play this game, then played it myself. spending time with him was the best growing up! so when he moved out of my parent's home, it felt so lonely and i wished that i could've cherished those moments with him. My brother has made me who i am and just being away from him makes me sad. So listening to this makes me cry my eyes out! I can't even imagine if i lost him completely!

I beat Kingdom Hearts 1 for the first time today, and then heard this song for the first time today. This song is amazing, and so was this game! I can't believe I haven't played KH all these years!
I literally just started replaying the series, and beat the first game. I put this music on to vacuum my room, and started tearing up. This series is truly beautiful, and will always hold a place in my heart. "Don't forget, no matter how dark it is, there will always be a door to the light." The feels are real.
Yep, great game. It's got some cool gameplay, but it also has that nostalgia with all the Disney characters that older gamers can appreciate. It gives you that twinge of nostalgia in your gut. At the same time the storyline can be dark and isn't all kid-like, which is good. Thankfully Kingdom Hearts 3 is finally coming out soon, a trailer has been released for it...it looks cool.

A lot of you commenting on this seem to misunderstand. When I used the line as part of my vows, the "warnings" weren't about our relationship, and there were (and still are) no red flags to speak of. I was talking about warnings of the future, of responsibility, and owning a home, trying to get a career, all the things that come with becoming a "full" adult, and such trials you face when you are in a marriage that you may or may not have to face solo. I understand the context of the line IN the song, but I used it in a different context. We're still together coming up on 6 years, as happy as can be in our marriage.

When I was around younger, I discovered this series, and little did I know that it would change my life forever by introducing me to JRPGs, and seeing video games through a new lens, and also encouraging me to watch some of the older Disney films, while also falling in love with the many characters that this series has. Happy 20th anniversary to Kingdom Hearts, regardless of what people say I will always cherish those beautiful memories I have with this series.

Now this song is really nostalgic for me, I remember as a little kid my brother and I would play this and not know how to play, then as we got a little older we progressed through the night, and I remember we had visitors over and my dad was watching me fight the final boss and so was my bro and my step brother and his friends, and I defeated the boss and we jumped in the air and It was such a good memory :) Sadly whenever I play this song or this game then I think of my dad, who well sadly a month after this happened passed away when I was 9 ;(, This game is so nostalgic to me and its more than just pixels in a screen, I will always remember this game :)

I literally just started replaying the series, and beat the first game. I put this music on to vacuum my room, and started tearing up. This series is truly beautiful, and will always hold a place in my heart. "Don't forget, no matter how dark it is, there will always be a door to the light." The feels are real.
Yep, great game. It's got some cool gameplay, but it also has that nostalgia with all the Disney characters that older gamers can appreciate. It gives you that twinge of nostalgia in your gut. At the same time the storyline can be dark and isn't all kid-like, which is good.
Thankfully Kingdom Hearts 3 is finally coming out soon, a trailer has been released for it...it looks cool.

This song is so bittersweet and nostalgic it hurts, bringing all the emotional moments from Kingdom Hearts and the nostalgia of even watching the commercials on TV as a kid, all at once, it's so painful T_T

I never expected KH to have such a great in-depth story line when I first started playing it, but I was surprised by how deep the intro was.
Then finally the ending theme song. THAT SONG, THIS SONG! Ugh my feelz were indeed touched. I was hurting, but in a positive way, because of how the story ended and also because of this song.

It's kinda funny, it's been more then 10 years since I played the game and just hearing this song still instantly manages to invoke feels.
I too just thought this would be a fun action mash 'em up and would've never thought how much of a long lasting impression the story would have.
