Awesome job. Looks great. Loved the video. You said that you struggle with the patching and wouldn't mind a couple helpful hints. A couple hints that will make your patching easier: 1st, Take a utility knife and score/cut the edges where the paint touches the item you are removing (board) this will stop the ripping of the drywall paper. 2nd, If you take a ball peen hammer and place the peen (ball) of the hammer over the removed screw or nail and then lightly tap the other end of the hammer with another hammer so that you indent the screw or nail hole. This makes a slight dent in the drywall for patching compound to set in and makes the patch smoother. I hope this helps your "fixing" so that you can get to the remaking phase faster.
Cut the paint along the wood being removed before starting. You can put a thin piece of wood behind the hammer head to help prevent gouges in the drywall while prying wood off.

@ Her father, my ex-husband, gave her up for adoption to get out of $100/per child support! I volunteered to double or triple to make him stop this silly bargain. I hope she is alive and happy. I loved that little girl so much! When she spent Summers with us, we would have ladies day out. A lunch at her choice, then shopping for dresses, shoes, hair ribbons AND a child sized purse! Her Mother was very pleasant and cordial with me. She was always amazed she arrived with one suitcase, but went home with two or more! Her name is Annathea, but she liked Annie! She probably lives in Texas. I keep her in my prayers. I have a daughter, Jenn 44 and a son, Zach 37. I hope they get to meet her. I've left her in my Will, even though we have no blood connection.

I've been getting a lot of the same questions about a few more closet details so here is some extra info! 💙 My closet measures *approximately 6ft x 6ft* . _Yes I am American, and yes Americans have unnecessarily big houses / closets and too much $h!t._ 🙂 I don't remember the exact pricing for the closet, but I believe all the parts and pieces cost around $200 USD. Very budget friendly option for a built in walk in closet. It's been over a year since I've installed it now and it's held up great. The Ikea Algot system has now been replaced by the new Boaxel system. Want to plan out your own closet? *HERE'S THE PLANNER TOOL* www.ikea.com/ca/en/planner/boaxel-planner/ The color of my closet walls is called Repose Gray by Sherwin Williams. As far as folding goes - try folding your items into thirds rather than halves, and they will be able to stand up in the drawers better.
I’m doing this in my closet because it’s literally the smallest thing ever and I really have to be strategic about the space in order to maximize it. I’m kind of sad they got rid of the Algot because they had the option for deeper mesh drawers on the Algot but the Boaxel will still work.
Very nice I need you to come and do my closet lol. You did a great job. May I make suggestion since your cat likes being in the window maybe install a cat hammock there so that the cat does not scratch up the window sill.

Great JOB! It helps to go use a utility knife to cut around the boards, so it does not pull off the paint and drywall.
