  • We are visiting the Tillamook Creamery in Tillamook, Oregon! Tillamook is one of our favorite dairy companies, and I always wanted to visit this site. This particular facility was opened in 2018 and is a popular tourist destination along Oregon's central coast!
Tillamook creamery was established in 1909 when several dairy farmers joined forces to create the Tillamook County Creamery Association...and the rest is history!

Its cool that they have a self guided tour as well as a premium one.
Those were some huge blocks of cheese.
You would have to like cheese to work there I think.
The ice cream looks really yummy. xx

OMG I particularly raised my kids in this creamery. We lived in WA for years. When we would go to the coast this was top on our list. If you are still there. Try any Mo's restaurant.

Awesome! We are not there anymore but we did try Mo’s in Lincoln City! That video will be out soon!! Thanks for the recommendation!

I really thought cheese making was a much simpler process, but shows me what I know! 3 scoops for $10, seems very expensive, but glad to hear that it was worth the wait :)

And I thought $10 for those scoops was a pretty good price!😂 prices for everything are so ridiculous now!!

Your mic held up really well on the wind. Your hair was everywhere. I love these type of tours. Little Rosalie would test the ice cream. I’m all about those cheese, so cool to learn how they make it. I wonder if the Cheddar Master gives autographs.
I agree, taste test job would be so fun. Those lines were huge. Ice cream flight is so cool. What a great tour.

lol- you aren't kidding about that wind! It was brutal all up and down the coast! The mic does handle pretty well in the wind, now that I put a wind muff on it that actually sticks :-) Thanks for checking it out!

We LOVE Tillamook ice cream. We haven't tried their cheeses yet. But it was very cool to learn a bit about the process of making the cheese. And any attraction that includes a cheese tasting is great in our opinion. Thanks for taking us along on the tour!

If I remember correctly, the 40 lb block of cheese is cut by machine and they have to add a slice of cheese to equal the 2 lb pack of cheese . HOPE they still make Oregon blackberry ice cream!
