I actually did that but im always off .1 decimal
meaning instead of 0.48
it shows 0.47

Great video, but is there a way to round within the same cell, or do I have to insert the result in the adjacent cell? And this method requires me to do the function for each cell. This takes more time than just entering it manually. Microsoft should have an easier way for such a basic function.

i am trying to convert kb to mb then mb to gb here is the gb formula i used =D2 /( 1024 * 1024*1024) it works but it shows up as 1234.44234543 how do i make it so it does the formula and shows up like this 1234.44 also i have over 4000 in my list how do i add kb, mb, and gb to the end of every cell in each column so it would show 1234.44 mb.

Hi, I am unable to get my desired decimal number after doing an average of 4 cells. The average number gives me an unwanted decimal number. E.g First, I want .00 to .24 as the round number (Like: The average is 112.15, which should be 112.00), Then, .24 to .75 as .50 (Like: The average is 112.34, which should be 112.50), Finally, .76 to .99 as the next rounded number (Like: The average is 112.82, which should be 113.00). Amazing that you can't simply have a number rounded off as you work, but you have to create an entirely new column where you type in the function you need. Excel doesn't have a number format that just limits the decimal points? Hard to believe.

BUT
if the amount calculated is 8930.135 then we keep it to 8930 only.
Here the [roundup(number, -1)] formula is calculating 8930.135 as 8940 too.
