This genius-prodigy distinction now gives us the blueprint for the type of player Ego wants to create. A blend of both that Noel Noa is. Looking at his weapons and plays, he is clearly a self-type, but his philosophy of logic and rationality suggests a world-type.
No. You misunderstand. Noel Noa and BM as an extension uses rationality to justify their own view od what the team should be. There is nothing rational about Kaiser and Isagi clashing on the field for soany games. He just wanted to evolve Kaiser. Thats his rationality. He's such an obsessed perfectionist that he becomes illogical due to an overwhelming use of logic. Besides, ego types are about why you do something. Not the action itself. Noa is not a blend of TL/Genius. He is a genius who devoured the concept of the way tgat TL fights and uses that to enhance his own seed ot originality.

Dude shidow has meta vision and is a talented genius he said so in season 2 episode 11 that his meta vision is kicking in but all he cares about is the goal.
That was Shidou just having good spacial awareness while in the flow state not Metavision. You can tell he doesn't have Metavison cause he got surprised twice in the U20 match. You can only surprise a Meta vision user if you go out of your way to hide from their gaze neither Nico or Reo where hiding from Shidou, yet he was still surprised that they had the perfect positions to block his shots. A meta vision user would never fall for that. on the contrary Shidou's weakness is Metavsion if you read the manga everyone who can stop shidou either has or will eventually have Metavision.
One thing ppl don't get is metavision they think its easy to do let me explain ppl like messi are able to analyze the field and use it to make passes but what u dont realize is that isagi checks literally every player and make the best possible move hes able to figure out everyone's abilities motion where they want to go and how they want to go also how they use their ego this can never be done by messi because all of this is done by isagi in a matter of seconds id like to see messi analyze every players abilities on the field lmao metavision is unrealistic the way isagi uses it anyways
Yeah, it is insane. The way the author abuses Isagi's weapon is purely chaotic. Sure, Isagi has great spatial awareness. But his adaptability is insaner than the meta vision. I consider Isagi as a genius tbh cause bro can adapt so easily that not a normal soccer player can do so easily. It is still a interesting manga tho. Definitely deserve the hype. Isagi will definitely win cause of the plot and he is mc.
Metavision in the story is more of a greatly exaggerated ability that may make it sound overpowered but it's really not-it's just explained detailedly just like how any stories does it. Metavision is more of a made-up term of Isagi's of someone simply analyzing the entire field instead of just watching the ball. Of course it's a great thing to have since it's a weapon that utilizes the player's soccer IQ to the max to come up a plan or to find the "dangerous" spot. But it's just analyzing the entire field and it uses quite a huge amount of brain power which is just needed to reach professional level. It's not unrealistic mind you, it's just because the anime/manga overexplains something just for the reader/watcher to understand. Take it this way, if I say I walk, the anime would say "I just used my lower extremity muscles by straightening and bending my joints in order to move forward with these so-called legs"

I feel like this is too narrow for us to determine yet. Rin could potentially become the deal breaker of both the "Devil's Contract" and Isagi's notions that led him to discard his emotions. Let's analyze a little further. The reason Noa even subbed Igarashi in, was because Rin was "charging in without thinking". The moment Rin figured that out, Igarashi was instantly being subbed off. Now, to think that Metavision is a tool only for the prodigies is not something I would agree on. Metavision is a tool where Prodigies *excel* at. Remember, that Rin is capable of copying Sae to a lesser degree and even able to shoot with his left impressively well, all things considered. Now having put those pieces into display, before we complete them, I want you guys to think back to how certain Prodigies work with their own formula. Let's put Charles and Kaiser here and put their formulas into the light. Charles: Expands his awareness with Metavision -> Shake off mark -> Receive the ball -> Read the common understanding of the field with Metavision -> Twists that common understanding and narrows his awareness with Contrarian Eye -> Passing sharply towards the least likely pass route perceived by the opposition towards any particular striker to finish the job Kaiser: Expands his awareness with Metavision -> Shake off marks if there are any -> Receive the ball -> Read the entire field with Metavision -> Pass the ball around until spotting the ideal place to shoot and score -> Narrows his awareness in order to reveal the impossible with Predator Eye -> Kicks the ball with Kaiser Impact through the "impossible" gaps that makes it "possible". Now, with all these pieces assembled, what can we predict about Rin's formula with and without Metavision? In order to complete this Puzzle, what is the most likely piece that Rin can get that still fits into an acceptable pattern that doesn't truly diminish his capabilities?
Rin is more than likely not gonna get meta-vision. As we see in the latest chapter of the Manga, Rin had a logical path to guarantee a goal and win the match for PxG. He even said it himself all he had to do was avoid Isagi and score the goal, this was immediately overwritten by his instinct that told him to crush Isagi and then score the goal. Which isagi correctly predicted he would do. like everyone has been saying in the comment section Rin logical analysis was just an attempt to copy Sae's playstyle, and like Reo discovered copying someone will only get you 99 percent of the real thing, the series is telling playing logically is nerfing Rin that's why he needs to awaken.
