How to get the "Cryptic Writings" GUITAR TONE - Dave Mustaine (Megadeth) - Bias Amp & Bias FX

- Using Bias Amp 2 and Bias FX 2, I show how to accurately get the guitar sound from Dave Mustaine and Marty Friedman (Megadeth) on the "Cryptic Writings" album.
IMPORTANT 2023 UPDATE - Some users have reported they can't find my presets when searching Bias FX 2. This seems to be a glitch in their search system. To solve the issue, type in the search field "DMO -" (yes, just DMO followed by a space and hyphen) and choose "Sort by Popularity" in the drop-down beside the search field. You should see all of my presets.
Please note many users have taken my presets and created their own versions with similar names. To make sure you are downloading my original presets, my user name in Bias FX 2 is "Dan Oliv". Also, my original presets have a lot more downloads than the non-original versions.

. Bias Amp 2 and Bias FX 2 guitar modeling software - metal distortion and Mesa Boogie Mark IIc+ amp simulation with tone matching feature
. Line 6 UX-1 audio interface
. M-Audio monitors
. Reaper Digital Audio Workstation
. iMac with Sierra OS
. ESP NV guitar with Kahler 2300 tremolo and EMG pickups

you always use the same distortion, amp, cab, eq, comp, gate pedals etc ... and yet your presets sound different, where is the trick?
You need to use MOD called ChorusOne by Positive Grid :)

Why did you use the Mesa? This album was a Marshall JMP-1 into a Marshall Power amp.

oh my gosh its the exact same tone, well i have dean zero angel of deth ii passive pickups, plz let me know which one is the best to buy for an intermediate metal player, Schecter HELLRAISER C-1 or Epiphone 1984 Explorer EX or ESP-LTD EX-401

@@MoonMoon-we1nj I actually owned a hell raiser and it was good guitar.. Neck was thick but I think they have since slimmed them down. I currently have an esp LTD m1000 and it is amazing I love that guitar but I don't know if there lower models are the same quality. I would recommend the hellraiser

DUDE what guitar is that? Is that a refinished Kerry King ESP or Jeff Hanneman?
I (think) it's an older James Hetfield signature. Mainly because of the crosses on the freeboard. I'm not sure though.
