Before the dawn of man or beast, immortals waged war against each other in Heaven. The victors declared themselves gods while the vanquished were renamed the Titans and imprisoned beneath Mount Tartarus.

Zeus - Central figure who speaks.
Poseidon - Fighting with the Trident.
Athena - Fighting with the Kama
Apollo - Fighting with the Sword.
Heracles - Fighting with his bare hands.
There was also:
Ares - Killed before this fight. Wielded the hammer That Zeus is now using.
The other Gods are assumed to have been killed in the original war with the Titans.
In this films chronology, both the Titans and Gods are the same species of creature - the Titans are just the ones who lost a war, and the Gods the winners.

if the gods and titans are same species then why are the gods able to move so much faster than the titans and be so much stronger?? also why did zeus only take athena's body up into olympus but not the other dead gods?! it doesnt make sense!
@@BFP2021 cause the titans spend centuries w/o food or water on there legs. Im pretry sure their legs are more tiresome and Athena can be save while the others are completely dead
This movie certainly caught my eye as soon as I saw the trailers. Everything is so... stylized in an interesting way.
Just me or did it seem like there were WAY MORE TITANS fighting against the Gods then were in the cage? Seriously, where did they all keep coming from?
This scene is a lot less cheesy and much more badass in the context of the film. Like, the fighting between humans is great but more real (a little stylish of course lol) but yeah, so when the God fight scenes happen, rather than just standing out as a standalone CGI cheese-fest, it really contrasts the other fighting in the movie and just makes it feel awesome and epic. Like, when a cool badass character in a movie (any movie) says a cheesy line, they don't become cheesy; they raise the line up to their coolness - same with this (and the couple of similar God fighting scenes :3 ) Plus the movie otherwise, outside of fighting, is pretty solid, good dialogue, decent story, great characters :) So, yeah, this scene is actually way more epic and cool than it seems on its own. Nice upload ^_^

It's a lot like 300 (obviously, because it was made by the same people) the fight scenes are amazing, the characters are awesome, but the story is.. meh.
