    -Skyy Moore
    -Kadarius Toney
    -Marquez Valdes-Scantling
    -Mecole Hardman

    I still can't fathom how the Jets entire season ended in 4 snaps and less than 3 minutes. No serious backup plans, nonsense on and off the field, it was just a group collectively slamming their heads against a wall for 17 weeks.

    Mecole Hardman played zero snaps for the jets and it made no sense. I was angry just watching the bs so when he found his way to the chiefs I’m glad his season story ended this way as a final smack in the face to the pathetic jets.

    Do a freeze frame just before the snap of the ball, and you'll see most of the 49er secondary is watching Kelce. After the snap, the CB (ex-Chief Ward) immediately commits to Kelce, helping create the opening for Hardman. On his New Heights podcast, Travis told Jason as soon as he saw Ward commit to him, he expected the TD to Hardman. Double teaming #87 in the red zone makes sense, but it helped turn Hardman into a Super Bowl hero.

    But as a Chiefs fan (since 1966), I welcomed him back because he is a quality receiver. And he showed his true colors yesterday.
    Thanks, Jets. 😉

Watched the 1st Superbowl (though that wasn't what it was called) with my dad as a toddler & then again in 69 and suffered through all the lean years. Jets failed to utilize Mecole. It wasn't his fault but they gave him a lot of grief about it. I was glad when he came back here.

    • @seakc87
      @seakc87 11 месяцев назад +3

      @SenorJuan2023 The corndog play they're talking about has a WR go in motion pre-snap and then turn back after the ball is snapped. It works best against man defense since the corner will either run with him and get caught up in traffic or he'll shift the WR to the corner on the other side and focus on the receiver inside. The Chiefs have run this play 3 times over the last 2 Super Bowls and corners have done the latter each time.

    • @sisilotau2185
      @sisilotau2185 11 месяцев назад +2

    • @muchomacho9961
      @muchomacho9961 11 месяцев назад +1

      The play design is to exploit defenders that trade off coverage, a lot of them don’t do it properly. Especially late in the game, they cheat a little and it just makes them more out of position for this play design.

    A BB defense would not leave any player so free at the biggest moment of any game and of course not with a play we had seen two times in the last SB. Pats had beaten the chiefs with Brady in the playoffs! So Lynch and Shanahan should call BB to be their next DC. But I think he will be too proud to accept anything else than a HC job!
