Tricky transitions for me, mine were by no means smooth but wobbly & shaky and slow. I think this tells me how I need to transition in my real life. Take it slow, work out the wobbles and shakes, learn and grow as I make it through what life throws at me. Mercury Retrograde coming up too! Nice opening in seated position with crescent moon warm up, opening hips and hearts which was lovely, cocoon to butterfly tough transition there, yogi squat to supine transformative twists was like a dead weight dropping on the mat! The supine twist gave me a nice back release. Thank you, Alison for another great class. Your voice is always so reassuring and restorative. 🐝🌷🌹The bees are a buzzing and my roses are budding out, it is the season of birth and emergence, which includes my 64th trip around the sun next Monday.

A beautiful practice, thank you. I would be remiss if I didn’t add that a butterfly emerges from a chrysalis and a moth emerges from a cocoon. Yes, “The Very Hungry Caterpillar,” and many other children’s books get this wrong. I love the reverse snowfall during savasana. Just lovely!

I was hesitant to do a slow flow because my body was feeling more activated, but the strength required for these poses and transitions was more than enough to keep me fired up! This felt sooo nourishing and intentional. I loved the cocoon/seed energy and the big transitions! 🦋🌱🌑☀️
