Howdy folks! Join me as we go over my new to me 2013 Ford Focus Electric, which was given to me as a non-runner. In this video, we figure out what the issues are with the car, and come up with a rough plan to address those.

Thanks! I've been working on EVs for 7 years now, and there's always something new to learn. When I started, there were only a very small handful of shops doing these sorts or repairs on the HV and powertrain systems. There are more shops now doing this work, but still not nearly enough to meet all the current demand (or future needs for that matter).

Upgrade the sync 2 radio to sync 3 you'll have factory Android Auto and Apple CarPlay totally worth it!

Not a bad idea... I used to have a Mustang with Sync 3, and that was quite nice. I'll have to look into it!

Is that noise a vacuum pump for brake booster? Instead of having a brake by wire system with blended regen.

Thinking of the Focus EV….do you also work on the Mitsubishi iMeiv ?
