I started watching your vlogs just today, and I totally hooked into it. I’m catching loads of very useful information, and it made me have something to look forward to on my “hope to travel” everywhere. Love lots xx
Listen!!. Exploring new countries is such a rewarding experience! For first-time travelers, I'd recommend considering destinations that offer a mix of cultural richness and natural beauty. Personally, I've been fortunate to travel to over 10 countries thanks to careful budgeting and smart investments.I wasnt financial free until my 30’s and I’m still in my 30’s, bought my second house already, earn on a monthly through passive income and got 2 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future.
I invest across the top markets but not by myself though. i follow the guidelines of Regina Louise Collaro . you might have heard of her.. I can correctly say she's worth her salt as an investment adviser as her diversification skills are top notch, I say this because i see that in her results as my portfolio grows by averages of 5 to 1O% on a monthly basis, unlike i can say for my other inve stm ents which has just been trudging along. my portfolio just mirrors what she place and not just on some particular industries of my choosing. My Dad was able to retire early and gain financial freedom through her help
Regina Louise Collaro is based in the United States and can work with anybody wherever they stay.. If you would like more information on reaching her, you can conduct a search online.
personally, I'm blessed and realizing I'm not the only one working with Regina Louise Collaro. I will consider myself lucky. I've been able to feed and make a living through her advice and great work. For such a person as Regina, I owe her gratitude, support and endless prayers as it is not easy to gain access to such a competent and reliable adviser. Who isn't just wise but has all it takes to handle an investment and is good at what she does.
Another tip that will save you hours, is where you book your hotel. Book close to most of the attractions you want to see it saves hours in travel time also getting close to a subway/. Metro station can save you time & money.
Hi Jemima! I’m from Argentina and will be travelling to Europe for three months (july, august and september). Your videos have been really helpful, specially the hostel tips one. I was wondering based on your experience if you had any hostel recommendation list or excel. For example the one in Crakow that had free breakfast and dinner. I would really appreciate it :)
I wont compromise on my accommodation i stay in apartments cost is around €70 a night thats about my limit. I stayed in a hostel once and ill never do it again. I try and have a cheap day every other day. Restaurant for lunch and a sandwich or something cheap for dinner. I also try walk as much as possible. I also don't really bother with museums.
Hi i was wondering if you could help. I am planning to visit these 12 countries if you could suggest me a route since you have been all over Europe. Whats the best way what the best route thank you Austria Belgium France Germany Greece Iceland Ireland Italy Portugal Switzerland Turkey Uk
Your content is so good! Really good advice that is not found often :) you should have so much more suscribers! (I just subscribed) keep uploading!!! Safe travels!
This was an awesome video! Ironically when you published it, I was in Australia. Headed back there in February 2023. Headed to Slovakia in April/May with shorter trips to Mexico and Ireland sometime before summer in the northern hemisphere. There’s nothing like having two summers a year. My mom’s grandparents came from what is now Slovakia and her other grandparents were German but grew up in in what is now Hungary. Can’t wait to check it out.
How do u do it this cheeply, I summed up my dream trip it is 17 days with the transportation time and the total was something like 1250 euro, considering food activities and so on.
So what do people do with their luggage or bags throughout the day? Seems to me the best thing to do would be to take one backpack with all your stuff, but you would have to carry it with you everywhere you go.
Also, I've heard about true backpacking where folks pitch tents. This is actually rather appealing to me on some occasions. That being said, are there like spas I guess for a real good shower and personal care experience between this type of sleeping arrangements while touring Europe?
Most big cities have storage places for bags! Or there are usually lockers at the bus/train station. And hmm I'm not sure about the spas, I know there are some good ones in Budapest! Most cities would have probably a Turkish bath type situation, or you could always get a day pass to a gym to use their showers
@@JourneyWithJemima Oh the gyms. Good idea! Thanks for the reply. We probably will do the hostel situation but there are a few more scenic towns the thought of camping is really appealing.
I find it is very handy to find the cheapest places to get stuff in a country. Like when I travel, I will check to see if there is a Poundland equivalent where I go, where are the cheapest supermarkets, and try to pick accommodation close to those if I can.
I did a lot of research! Reading blogs and watching videos from other travelers. I always look up places on Google Maps, read all the reviews, check their '$' rating, and try to figure it out from there!
40 dollars a day is just a normal average for a traveler. Not budget, it feels like. Not counting the transportation. And Considering there are very cheap hostels that charge 10 dollars a night.
I had a few reservations but honestly it was probably the country in Europe where I felt safest. There are so many sterotypes/misconceptions about Albania but it's one of the friendliest countries I went to. Everyone wants to help you and wants to show you how lovely their country is. It's one of the best places I've been on my own!!
just wondering how you managed around the 90/180 day schengen rules as an Aussie citizen? nobody has explained schengen + bilateral visa waivers very convincingly. Or did you get a long term holiday visa?
AMAAAAAAAAAAAZING!!! This video is everything i was wondering and needed hahaha… I am going to Europe to travel for a year and I’m wondering how the hell I’m gonna do that. Thank u so much !!!! This was so bad ass! I feel like we’re best friends now … u get me! Hahaha … But seriously though, THANK YOU! This was great.
For booking return flights, do you do that before you go on your trip or during the end of your trip when you know you are ready to go home from your months long journey? How do you know your exact date you will be going home if you buy the return ticket before? Thank you for you videos btw
My europe trip i didn't book a flight home because I didn't have a plan. The trip I'm on now, I just booked return flights Sydney to LA (it was cheaper) and I am making my plans fit around the return date. It just depends on how long I want to be away, and what my plans are!
wow this is such a great video! Did you find you got exhausted or tired after 9 months, or ever miss home? I'd love to travel long term but I'm worried about missing the comforts of home
Wow you are brilliant wish I had a chnace to travel with you definitely it would of being fun and very good experience. Well if I know your next move I d love to join you look forward to hear from you take care 😊
Wow! 9 months???? Did you not have a job? Seriously, no shade at all... or did you work remotely? I wish i can travel for at least 3 months. I want to take a whole summer vacation with my kids but i can't because of work.
In the process of planning a 3 month trip to europe so this was really helpful..especially the SIM card you got! I was gonna get an eSIM but your way sounds better haha 🤣 also, how did you get the visa to stay in europe for 9 months?!?!
This video was very helpful! One thing you forgot to mention, maybe because you’re in Australia so it may not apply, is having charger adapters. I’m from the US but have visited Europe and spent three and a half weeks there. I’m so glad I did my research and bought an adapter for cheap on Amazon. I’m planning on going back to Europe and I want to spend three months. I’m scared but excited. Also, how long did it take you to plan and save up for a nine month trip?
Thanks! Oh three months will be awesome! I didn't save specifically for the trip but I got made redundant and was like oh well now's a good time to use up my savings haha! And I definitely planned as I went - it's good to be flexible because you'll meet so many people and hear so many good recommendations :)
Hi Jemima, I love this video, very helpful tips! I'm planning a very BUDGET backpacking trip after I graduate high school and I have been saving like crazy so hopefully, assuming the COVID-19 situation gets better, it'll happen. I was wondering if you'd be willing to share that google doc you made about budgeting and the full itinerary of the countries you visited/route you took? I'm just searching around for inspiration in order to plan my trip! :)

just wondering how you managed around the 90/180 day schengen rules as an Aussie citizen? nobody has explained schengen + bilateral visa waivers very convincingly. Or did you get a long term holiday visa?
