Yep, they already work together before ngnl but ngnl pretty much the reason why they got much much closer. Before ngnl, they work together a lot to the point that kayanon thought there are some kind of special connection between them (not to the point of lovers tho). But when ngnl started, turns out matsuoka didn't share the same sentiment with her so she make it her goal to become matsuoka's close friend during the ngnl radio
