I really appreciate a video going into detail on your car. There’s barely any videos of a turbo 5th gen and this actually makes me wanna do the same to my 5th gen in the future.

Gray TV thanks i appreciate it a lot 🙌🏾, and what i suggest you do before Charging your car is to find a person that can tune it. You could get an aftermarket standalone ECU first then you can get all the components you need to turbo charge you’re car

Hey bud, the Camry looks pretty clean. Props as I don’t see mean leak ones much less boosted ones. Can I give you a few suggestions? eBay parts are fine for certain things but anything that has to do with longevity of the motor is what I try to stay clear of. I saw you saying you’re gunna upgrade to a tial wastegate and that’s good. You don’t want it failing on you and overboost which will definitely grenade your motor. The eBay fuel pressure regulators will work but they fail early and they aren’t very accurate. I’ve had dozens of friends/customers that had idle problems or lean under boost or rich under boost out of nowhere after a short period and I trace it back to the regulator. The aeromotive fpr’s aren’t but like 150. That motor will cost more. Last recommendation is for when you decide to upgrade the turbo. You said you want ballbearing and I’m sure you’re looking for a decent price. Twisted motions is my suggestion. They’re based off of the Garrett turbos and are pretty damn good quality. The gtx series are awesome and reliable as hell. Btw, twisted motions gtx vs your average eBay gtx are totally different in design, spool up speed and power production. Ask me how I know lol. Actually stacking up parts for my next upgrade. Going from tomie arms m8280 to a twinscroll twisted gtx3582.
Thanks man i really appreciate it a lot , so since this video i actually fully built the motor and got a custom turbo manifold made as well , i when with 2 tial 44 gates and now going to 1single gate when my new turbo manifold is being made . Also i got a borg Warner s300 turbo which was great and now upgrading to the s366 in a few weeks, and as for the fuel pressure regulator i made a fuel return system and also got a dw1000 fpr as well , i steamers away from the eBay things just a bit LOL

Thanks 💪🏾✌🏾so i would alphabetical to say first do some research on the internet/eBay and see if they have a turbo manifold, next i would say find a turbo that would fit your liking and then the rest you can piece together like intercooler vacuum lines etc

Your located in Florida any chance you are around Tampa area, I’ve been trying to find a good shop and tuner to bring my tC to that I can trust and help me get the right stuff
I do live in Florida but i live in Coral Springs and Tampa is about 3hrs away from where I’m at, i still don’t know a good shop for scions but i have multiple shops that i can go to, such as the fabricator shop for getting custom welding done , and then my tuner he tuned mostly Toyota 2jz and occasionally turbo Scion tC and is very good at it

I have a 2005 camry 2.4L, I was wondering what you have on your car for exhaust? because i want mine to sound better than the stock sound.
hey what's going on!!!, for my exhaust i have a full 3 inch straight pipe fro the turbo all the way back, but when my car was stock i cut the resonator out and took off the muffler and it sounded good and was loud. i do have a video on my channel of my car right before i installed my turbo. you can check it out :)

Yes this build was done with the 2azfe engine, and yes the 06 Scion tC has the same motor
Does any body know if you can swapp out the 02-04 camry taillights for the 05-06 Camry taillights?
Not sure I think the 02-04 ones are bigger than the 05-06 ones

Yes I still have drum brakes, but I do plan on converting to death breaks soon

Joey, that lip is from a company called Vizage. Look them up, they might have a few authentic ones around. They have replicas for gen5 but not for the 5.5. IMO the gen5.5 lip looks better especially with foglights installed.

Have you checked out Gearbest bro? Your camera must be great for steady photography(someone might be happy to buy that) but you may need a action cam. Check that site out, they've got durable action cams that work same or even better than Go-Pros without breaking the bank.

Well mine is a 4banger but some are 6v and it’s kinda hard to find how to get more hp on take off, i would suggest turbo it will help on talks off and top end
More hp on take off I'd go procharger for torque hp is more top end

yeah so here in Florida we do not have smog tests luckily haha , but in other states that require smog i dont think it will pass

As of right now I’m running a e350 from a Scion tC (has shorter gears than the e351)
I got 2003 camry . My engine burn about 1L every 5k kilometers .is it okay to install a turbo with that ?

Ok so you’re talking about 1qt of oil, yea it’s ok adding a turbo with that that’s typically normal for the 2azfe for most people , luckily i did not have that problem but you just need to keep an eye on the oil level regardless when you add a turbo so if you keep an eye on your oil you’ll be set.

I got. Turbo and turbo exhaust manifold from a scion free from a homie I threw on my 02 Camry got a intercooler from a Sti I worked on the guy did a upgrade gave me cash and the cooler gotta turbo from a Evo 8 I’ll eventually use

I’m running a greddy emanage blue ecu that’s spliced into the stack harness
Thanks im trying to get a ecu and harness setup but torn between the aem fic, the unichip pnp and the aem ems4 but those harnesses are made for the tc which wont connect to my camry...already have my turbo just need a few more things to install it.
How much boost you runnin?

Nice car my dude. I love turbos. I boosted my 86 and it was fast for only 100 hp more. I now have a 2018 camry xse i4. I want to turn it into a sleeper when i find a better job. I would put a small td4 and make the exhaust quite as possible lol

True. A custom downpipe is the only thing you would need besides the ecu and tune. You can get down pipes that might work but I'll be better if you get a custom one made
