- Here it is ! Probably the most interesting song I've ever learned. I absolutely loved working on it ! This was done on the first take and I'm happy about that. A lot of effort has been put in this one and the effort continues with next week's video. As always thank you all for the kind comments, positivity, love in the comment section. I'm so happy to see this channel growing day by day and receiving all these nice messages ! You all rule and I wish you all the very best !
Now to talk a bit about Plini, that song "Cascade" and how much this album "Handmade cities" has inspired me. I discovered this song because Steve Vai had shared it on Facebook. I immediately fell in love with it and listened to the full album. I was already a big fan of Troy Wright's work. He is an incredible drummer and I often describe this album as one of the best written album for drummers. Creativity, energy, subtle grooves, complex drumming, tasty dynamics... You name it !!!! It's all there. I'm blown away by the quality of this band and how beautiful and peaceful their music is. I've seen them live with Troy and what an inspiring gig this was ! This has always one of my favorite Plini songs, primarily because of the crazy polyrhythmic outro. I'm pretty sure watching this drum cover made me love it even more. All that cymbal work while keeping up that complex rhythm was just amazing, and you made it look so natural! I'd say you completely nailed everything about this drum cover. Definitely subscribing.
