If you want go down to Leith then hop on the new tram at St Andrews square!

14:40 White building in the background is Camera Obscura & World of Illusions. An amazing place to visit. I worked in Edinbugh for years a great place steeped in history. Fact The population doubles during the fringe and renting a B&B costs a fortune during this time

Debanhams closed down years ago, Princes street is full of tarten tatt shops and poundstores these days. Edinburgh was amazing 30 years ago but it's a nightmare these days with the chaos caused by the tram line. The council are clueless and the LEZ totally unnecessary as well.

it closed in 2020, the fire was during the restoration works, I think one fireman lost his life sadly.

August is without doubt the best time to be in Edinburgh. So much to see, so much to do, and so many interesting people to meet.
Last time I was in princes street it was full of purple buses which we used to catch.Beatiful city.
