I remember attending the 1988 olympic trails in Greco Roman. I sat next to a family with a son competing. They all wore tee-shirts saying "Galen to Seoul". Galen was behind and Mom kept yelling "Pacivity Blue". Finally the table judges agreed and disqualified Galen's opponent. While Galen came up into the stands to embrace his mother and young wife, his opponent shouted a the table judges for about 5 minutes. One of the most memorable moments in sport but I still felt guilty watching.
I'm on varsity too, I just wish I had enough money to pay for camps. I know of some really good ones but I need to get a job as soon as the season is over so I can pay for them and get better. All I want is to be at least a county champ by senior year.
I love how Burroughs is running after his match. Working harder than you are expected to, that is how you get to the top levels in this sport. No, scratch that. You have to work harder than your body can, until you can make your body work that hard. Then increase the intensity a little bit more.

Yeah man, Hopefully I'll be going to university somewhere in the country where there are opportunities to learn wrestling, all we have over here is jiu-jitsu, kickboxing and boxing. Wrestling is virtually non-existant it's a shame really, ive found that kickboxing has given me alot of confidence and character building, but I think having he ability to learn wrestling from an earlier age would have done even more for me. Oh well, Guess I've got to play catch up.
