  • This is a one off english video from us as so far there seem to be no full reviews for this blaster online on RUclips. German version coming this weekend of course for our normal audience!
    Nerf presents their newest blaster, the flwheel driven motorized Nerf N-Series Sprinter. Sold in the USA exclusively by Walmart, the blastzer was laucnhed early in Germany by Smythstoys. The semi-auto bullpup blasters channels the Rayvens energy into 2024. Is the blaster better or worse of the other new N-Series blasters? Our clubs' own Doc Hoeni unboxes the blaster, shows what's in the box, takes some ever important FPS numbers and tests it out about range, accuracy and spread.
    ONC is germanys biggest and oldest Nerf and foam flinging club. Events can be found on our club website - we start again in september after the summer break. owlnerfcommunity.de

    I can definitely see this being a prime candidate for a short dart conversion with a full-auto kit. Or perhaps a solenoid kit put in

      It’s our yearly one-off English video in case we happen to get a blaster earlier than the usual NerfTubers in the USA (and rest of world).
      Helps with the YT algorithm and to pay our clubs insurance fees but will not be a more frequent thing.

    I'm glad that hobby has managed to grow past Nerf brand and with X-Shot & Dart Zone making awesome blasters commercially and 3d printed blasters being really high quality people can ignore another DRM attempt of trying to shoehorn something nobody asked for. I at least hope that Pro series will grow but that isn't Hasbro's main market.

      It’s basically Ultra 2.0 with less durable darts. Also the Raven actually came with an larger capacity magazine. It came with an 18x. This comes with a 16x.

      The majority of 'nerf' users aren't really hobbyists. They're casual users, mainly young kids and teens, none of whom will care about what darts they fire, just as long as they have some. Dartzone don't seem to be readily available outside of the USA, so they're not relevant to the global market. Nerf has global brand recognition, and they're readily available in stores and online everywhere... and that's what will count, not dart shape, accuracy or super performance. Hasbro have always set the standard in terms of dart sizes, and everyone just copied Hasbro's "Elite" dart dimensions, including X-Shot and Dartzone. What the competitors do in the future remains to be seen.

      @@speeddemon5339 AF waffle heads are about 50% more accurate than Elite. What makes you think these are more durable than ultra? I only heard the opposite. They’re more durable and accurate than elite but that’s not saying much. Xshot, Adventure Force and Dartzone have way better darts for a fraction of the price.

    The colours are much nicer than the rest of the N series line. Needs a second magazine. Grip looks cramped. Id stick to a Spectrum or a Thunderbolt for a fraction of the price. They also fire a lot faster than 79 FPS; more like 92 FPS. My unmodded Stryfe does 73 FPS average. My 2S LIPO converted Regulator does 95FPS. Isnt the FPS suppose to be close to 85FPS? That’s embarrassing for Hasbro. I’ll never invest into these darts but I will wait for a better designed N series springer to mod to fire regular thickness darts.

    • @another3997
      @another3997 Месяц назад

      Unlike Nerf and X-Shot, I can't just walk in to a shop and buy a Spectrum or a Thunderbolt, nor can I easily find them online and have them shipped to the UK. To succeed in a global market, you have to have a global product, and it needs to be readily available at a reasonable cost. Dartzone products are neither. Depending on the success of the N Series, you may find other manufacturers following suit with dart designs... whether you like it or not. 🤔

    • @sweetlikechocothai

      @@another3997 I think some sketchy companies will steal the design to sell much cheaper. Just like elite, Mega, suctioncup, glow in the dark, accufakes etc. I don’t see blaster companies starting making their barrels slightly larger. Sad if they do.

  • @jolemaire6629

    For a 9 volt system it is very weak. There are nerf stryfe and ECS 10 clones that do 80 fps with standard lengts darts with 6 volts (4 AA) and 100+ fps with 9 volts (6 AA). It looks very KO. Accuracywise it's also not breaking records. In conclusion it's a failed attempt to shove new useless darts on us. There are better options like the dart zone thunderbolt; Cheaper, compatible shoots harder and with better darts available.

    • @another3997
      @another3997 11 дней назад

      If you don't like it, don't buy it. Like most companies, Hasbro want to differentiate themselves from the competition. They set the standard dart shape and size with 'Elite' years ago, this is more of the same. And despite what some people want, they're still just kids toys. As for Dartzone, availability outside of the USA is extremely limited. Nerf and to an extent X-Shot are available on store shelves everywhere, not to mention Amazon, Ebay etc. Not so with Dartzone... a dozen small suppliers world-wide, mainly mail order. That means more people will buy Nerf N Series by default.

  • @another3997
    @another3997 11 дней назад

    It's problematic when reviewers approach Nerf products from an adult, hobbyist perspective. The average Nerf user isn't an adult or a hobbyist, they're kids, often pre-teens. They don't care about half the things mentioned here, they just want to shoot darts at their friends and have something that looks cool. Parents buy them and extra darts as needed. They don't want their kids having 150fps blasters with darts that hurt when hit, that easily fly over the fence to next door but one's garden... or onto a busy road where kids will try and retrieve their darts. Fortunately, the new Pro series should keep some of you 'adults' happy. 😁

    • @another3997
      @another3997 11 дней назад

      They're kid's toys, meant for playing indoors in the home or in a typical garden, so big is better. It's their biggest market. Hasbro are also producing a range of adult oriented blasters that use half darts, although it's a much smaller market, but whatever they do, some people will still complain. 🙄

    • @Kuli24000
      @Kuli24000 11 дней назад

      @@another3997 There's already a standard size of dart and parents like not having to buy new darts. It's kind of like how USB is already established. I've seen the failure of the Ultra line and Hyper line and just expect another of the same. They want their proprietary isolation, but really having compatible darts would be better for business.
