I think planes like the Bombushka, Volatol, etc should be upgraded to atleast 50% of the Avenger's Armor. And also the speed(they are obnoxiously slow)
@@Josef_Stylin yeah you are right but I doubt R* would ever do that, which I really don't understand; balancing things will encourage players to buy different planes due to fomo effect & hence give rise to more inflation; more inflation means better shark card sales eventually.
Theres so many things that can be done with the big bomber aircraft, im thinking a co-pilot guided missle like the kosatka missles on the volotal and alkonost, better co-pilot explosive guns to help with air defense and ground attacks, more bombs that also have a bigger blast radius, armour that is comparable to the avenger etc etc
Pro tip: if you have the avenger in autopilot, and you want to get back in with the thruster, you can just land on the back of the avenger and it'll let you enter the cargo space
Hopefully in the next update Rockstar will give us the ability to use countermeasures as a pilot because my first thought was "if VTOL is moving to left stick, that means right on the d-pad is free for flares that have been useless as a solo player". I mean they gave the pilot weapons to make the Avenger more solo-friendly so why not make the countermeasures an option for the pilot as well?
It's a shame about the removal of the bullet resistant windows... There maybe weapons to defend yourself against air targets but it is also now more risky to face against police choppers & heli supports...

I will say this, i never bought avenger until this update and i fully modded it. And i play solo and have always played solo. I have went into auto pilot and destoryed so many players as a solo. I have had jets come up and run into my blades, had mk2 and jets try to come up to shoot me but i have 3 guns that i can always get them before they get me. Also when im in auto pilot if my avenger does finally go down i don't actually die. I just get moved i somewhere else. And being i stopped storing in hanger and just keep in my facility i just fast travel for a heist setup to there and get my new avenger all over again. Rinse and repeat and i only do this to the ones that are running around destroying ppls deliveries or just being douches. I love the avenger and never realized how great it was
I wish the map was huge, then there was a reason to actually get ur buddies inside ur plane and go far. Always thought it would’ve been cool getting a bunch of friends inside a plane. But everyone always wants to take their own plane. If it was harder or made more sense somehow to all get inside the same plane, it would be cool flying somewhere that took like atleast 20 mins to get to
It pisses me off that you can’t buy both and swap between the two in the hanger. If you buy one, then buy the other, you literally have to buy the first option again if you want to use it. Just wasted $$$. Rockstar is really stupid. They don’t pay taxes and then they treat us like shut.
You can buzz around town, in passive mode, whilst using the Thruster. Kind of cool, I think, as you can watch the craziness from all new angles, and not worry about being shot down. Speaking of the Thruster you keep in the Avenger - but I bet you knew that!
Man I really wish you could put your custom thruster in the back of the avenger. It would make it so so so much useful to be able to instantly call that in, and I use my jetpack a lot already too
Nobody is talking about the nerf of the avenger …. The windows were semi bulletproof before the update like shafter v12 armored or some of the imanl tech vehicles like the buffalo stx

Its really stupid how we still cant use the countermeasures on it while we are piloting it, even after they remapped the VTOL button and now the the button for the countermeasures is free to use.
I don't understand why we have to buy the lock on jammer, if it was something that the avenger already had. Back in the day i used it to kill mk2's since they couldn't lock on me so while they were trying to aim i simply used the cannons to kill them and spawn trap. It used to take a lot more damage.
I accidentally blew up my friend's MOC with 1 Ruiner 2000 missile, when he is at the driver seat in these days. Not only the Avenger, the Kosatka, even the MOC always with the same glitch. I'm pretty sure Rockstar has never fix them since those vehicles came out.😅
I love the fact that i can enage autopilot over the city between buildings at night, and be off radar while i use the canons to decimate the ground below lol..
same. if i see someone getting griefed i fly over to the area in ghost, pop the thermal helmet and hop on the turret, then spawntrap the ever loving shit outta the attacker until they leave. 50% of the time they just end up blowing themselves up over and over because they just can’t hide from me

Pretty sure it was a TGG video but to easily go from Thruster to Avenger just land on the tail of the Avenger and the prompt will pop up to enter. Way easier then trying to line up perfectly behind the back door.
If Rockstar would change just 1 single thing about the bombushka that would make me extremely happy, it’s allowing the explosive turrets to shoot in any angle they are facing. Currently, there’s like a 30° angle (or cone) that you can point each turret and it will fire. Once you turn it just outside of that angle, slightly too high or low, or to the side, the turret won’t fire at all. Mind you, these turrets have super long range, a little over half the sandy shores runway, and they rotate 360° in almost any direction. Yet they can only fire directly in front of them basically. While so many things about the bombushka suck, if we could just shoot the damn thing from any angle it would be a godsend. It’s infuriating to zoom into a target, get your shot lined up, and press fire only for nothing to happen because your target is slightly beneath the firing zone and your pilot has to slowly turn around for another pass. Anyone agree?
P.S. This change would allow us to circle a target like a real AC-130 gunship and rain down fire. It’s technically already possible but you have to tilt the plane in a very precise angle to allow only the top mounted turret to shoot at your target. And if you stray from that angle even a little, your buddy can still see the target but the cannons won’t fire. Imagine all 3 cannons simultaneously shooting down on one guy... Maybe he’s on foot, maybe he’s in a tank. You can’t call it op because it’s still a giant piece of paper mache.

Damn I was happy with this update at first solely because of the Avenger upgrades. But alas, sure we get pilot weaponry but we still can't use our own countermeasures AND the Avenger has been massively nerfed in defensive capabilities used to be identical to nightshark/insurgent: 27 hominh missiles/9 rpgs/etc they really did just slash damn near everything good with this update at least we got a kickass Raiju, that's like litterally the only upside along with cannon nerfs
I really think the thruster should have everything it normally has except the weapons, so it's still for transportation, but if you're being harassed by missiles, you can somewhat defend yourself, but I really like how they are making the thruster useable then a gimmick you get after the doomsday heist.
They even changed the controls on PC, before, contrameasures and Vtol were with E, now you need to hold G (landing gear) idk why, PC has a lot of keys, I mean, A LOT. You could use one key for each action of the game, and you'll still have some remaining.
@@El-Leon-VLLC same for controller, right D-pad was for VTOL OR Countermeasures and L3 for landing gear, now for the new jet, right D-pad is for stealth and holding L3 for VTOL pressing L3 for landing gear. But all VTOL aircrafts changed so there is no problem with the adaptation but since the right D-pad doesn't have a use for most VTOL's, rockstar should have made so the pilot can use the Countermeasures but they didn't.
The bombushka still hasnt been fixed. We used to be able to max it out and still put cargo in the back but now it needs to be stock to be able to use the back.
Since this is a plane video, i want to comment about a helicopter: the sparrow no longer has infinite contrameasures, now it works like any other aircraft, sad but fair.
Man, I wish I could upgrade my Avenger, but it's bugged. Every time I upgrade it, it just reverts back to stock as soon as I either leave the area or take it out of the facility or hanger. If anyone knows why this happened, I would love to know why cause it's been years that's it's been bugged, so I never use it.
The Avenger is the new best dog fighter.....sorta, the tankiness of it with the new weapons allows you to hold off against other jets. While the Rykui is immune to normal bullets as a pilot you can just ram into them and this is probably the best way to go. As long as you stay in VTOL mode the Avenger is probably the new best thing to deal with jets that are annoying you
There's another Raiju bug I haven't seen anyone else talk about. The targeting reticle for the Cannon vanishes if you aim at trees, buildings etc. It's strange.
Hopefully you see my comment but there's a glitch with the last dose that will not give you the ocelot virtue at all no matter what I have no idea if this is the same with the acid lab but if your doing the last dose missions for the first time you won't receive the ocelot virtue at all so another game bug lol

So from what I'm gathering it's a far weaker version with just a few extra things which are just weapons from a basic helicopter and being able to have a jetpack in. Is it really worth the upgrade as the avenger used to be an absolute air tank and how weak it is just seems like am easy target now
I would've less ramge if it mean explosives cannons, with a single cannon under the nose. But yeah. A good shock and awe tactic is to go off the radar then stealth vtol mode.

What would it take for you to stop playing this game and play / make similar content on another game? I've noticed that torpedoes don't lock on to almost anything anymore. I like to use the toreador for the cayo perico kasatka mission, but the torpedoes don't lock on to the boats and helicopters. I tried using it against the cops and it would only lock on to their helicopter, not their cars or themselves
The Avenger desperately needs a solid counter now because it was already superb before the buff, and now it’s ludicrously overpowered. I don’t know what Rockstar was thinking about this. The MOC is nigh useless now.
the avenger is only “op” when you have a full crew on board it. It’s virtually harmless if you’re a single pilot with NO countermeasure controls and NON-BULLETPROOF windows with access only to trash mgs and missiles.
Much as I appreciate the guide, I don't dare play the game right now. I'm scared of losing my cars that I'll never get back. F gta+, it ruining the game for anyone who's not a new player. I've been playing for 3 years and I collect cars. The game is ruined for me. I can help anyone who wants super cars or spots classics as I have them all but my other garage's will never progress now😢. I've bought every PlayStation gta since the start and gta v 3 times now. This is how they show LOYAL fans to quit this massive cash grab
taking the thruster in and out on missions specifically back in is a pita just dont do that stuff just a sitting duck or you'll hit something and blow up best to land or just jump out of the thing

It is very useful. My low level friend wanted to practice flying one but didn't want to risk making me lose my personal one so I just called the other thruster.

Pro tip: if you have the avenger in autopilot, and you want to get back in with the thruster, you can just land on the back of the avenger and it'll let you enter the cargo space
You don't need to land, just fly up to the back

Climb to good height stick autopilot on and use the cannons no sniper can get you.
Also, about the Thruster: It isn't tricky. Land it at the top of the tail and press the D-Pad

Flak guns on the AA Trailer are probably the best weapons to takedown the Avenger I believe it is 2 shots. And honestly about any vehicle.

So from what I'm gathering it's a far weaker version with just a few extra things which are just weapons from a basic helicopter and being able to have a jetpack in. Is it really worth the upgrade as the avenger used to be an absolute air tank and how weak it is just seems like am easy target now

The avenger can out run homing missiles if u know how to fly it I did it before and after the update just hitting oppressors with propellers

That being said I really only bought the Avenger to fly it around and transport my personal vehicle plus being based off the Osprey I am very pleased with it.

I've noticed that torpedoes don't lock on to almost anything anymore. I like to use the toreador for the cayo perico kasatka mission, but the torpedoes don't lock on to the boats and helicopters. I tried using it against the cops and it would only lock on to their helicopter, not their cars or themselves
You can land the thruster on top of the avenger for a easier way to enter the avenger
For when the avenger does actually explodes from one explosive, I assume it’s lag

The Avenger desperately needs a solid counter now because it was already superb before the buff, and now it’s ludicrously overpowered. I don’t know what Rockstar was thinking about this. The MOC is nigh useless now.
the avenger is only “op” when you have a full crew on board it. It’s virtually harmless if you’re a single pilot with NO countermeasure controls and NON-BULLETPROOF windows with access only to trash mgs and missiles.

I've been playing for 3 years and I collect cars. The game is ruined for me. I can help anyone who wants super cars or spots classics as I have them all but my other garage's will never progress now😢. I've bought every PlayStation gta since the start and gta v 3 times now. You can get insurance on the cars and just pay to call them back

taking the thruster in and out on missions specifically back in is a pita just dont do that stuff just a sitting duck or you'll hit something and blow up best to land or just jump out of the thing

I didn't realize they removed the bullet resistant windows that is so dumb. Also it seems that with this update you can no longer enter the back of the avenger during free mode missions... making it useless in groups. Wth R*?
I wonder does the stealth mode apply to NPCs? Might sound silly but if I can use it in free roaming missions for say the agency that would be interesting

Ngl it feels like for their price, neither of the lock on jammer or stealth mode are usefull, the lock on because you have to stay still and the stealth because the avenger isn't exactly hard to see
Stealth is good for a black avenger at night. Many successful ambushes have been carried out on griefers flying at high altitudes in stealth jets.

My avenger has been destroyed only twice. Once to one explosive sniper bullet. Once to a single OpMk2 missile.

Jammer probably has more upside since you can chill in the back and use the guns yourself

They should buff it, like the sparrow with contrameasures. Btw, Sparrow no longer has infinite contrameasures.

Yep, its a special vehicle, not a personal vehicle. So you can have it out at the same time as a PV
It is very useful. My low level friend wanted to practice flying one but didn't want to risk making me lose my personal one so I just called the other thruster.
@@GhillieMasterthats actually a good way to avoid the avenger becoming a new poket plane vehicle... part of the glitch was in simple words, making the game be confused between your plane and the personal vehicle... (talking of the glitch that allowed you to put it even in the terrorbite, not just MOC)
